I've had a bad hunchback all my life, which has caused a lot of pain in my chest and lumbar vertebrae over the past decade. In fact, because of my posture, I have a protruding intervertebral disc in the middle of my back. So, for those who have just started with a bad posture, this is a cautionary tale! I have a spine expert, I do injections, and I've had one or more physiotherapists in the past 2-3 years, so I realized I needed to strengthen some muscles, try to have a good posture as long and as often as possible, and go to PTS, a few days a week to try all my exercises. The problem is that I have crazy busy days, I don't remember, when I remember, if I did it for a long time (say, 5 minutes!) For a while, I wasn't used to working with muscle injuries, so. Enter the posture correction device! I have had several over the years, but I have found them of no use to me because they are too tight, too painful, and to some extent limited. It's very uncomfortable. It's definitely not something I want to wear for an hour, let alone a day. This is fun. I've been wearing it for about 5 hours, and I'm only happy when I remember it's on, because it gently pushes me to keep my position, and when I see myself in the right position, I feel good! But you definitely need to wear this and do your homework and practice at the same time. I don't think it's a magic cure for bad posture, and they won't say that. I'm really excited that it helps me get to a healthy posture.
