I chose this substrate because I knew I would run a medium to heavy planting tank. Before I buy things, I tend to do a lot of research, which is one of the most important substrate options for planting fish tanks (if you're not going to plant, it doesn't matter what you use, as long as it's suitable for fish). It would be better to just make a contaminated fish tank. But this is the first time I've run in fresh water, and I've planted a tank, and I think I'll save it for later. One thing I can confirm is that when I set up the tank, this material significantly reduced the initial cycle time. I've never heard of tanks riding so fast! My tank was completely recycled in a week. I did make a "fish in" cycle, with some zebra Danios, but I think you can do a fish-free cycle, if you like. If you choose a fish method, just make sure you are testing your water parameters every day and making daily water changes. About 20% is OK, unless your level is too high.

After reading the comments and studying the product for a few weeks, I learned that the most important thing is not to wash away the rubbish in your life, but to cure it in the sun. So I did it, and it took me less than 15 minutes to lift my three bags and ended up with an incredible, cloudless water tank. I filled a five-gallon bucket halfway and poured one of the bags in. As you can see from the photo, the resulting mucus is not something you would add to an existing tank in any case, or a new one. I poured out the mud soup and poured the bucket in half. I did this about five times until the water was 90% clear. I repeated the process twice for the other two bags and then laid the Flourite on a suitable sheet. I must point out here that if I wanted to, I could easily keep rinsing until the gravel became crystal clear, but I didn't. Anyway, after about three hours in the sun, I poured it into two buckets. Flourite is completely dry and contains a million tiny particles, so it has a little dust. I poured about a gallon of water into each bucket to reduce the dust and then added it to the tank. Then I filled up five gallons at a time and poured water on a rock in my tank. I immediately added my plants, and although the rustle rustled them to take root, there were no clouds. Yeah!

In fact, I prepared these gravel for my fleshy plants to carry out additional drainage in the soil. They are not only beautiful rocks, but they can afford them. It seems that any kind of gravel or rock used in plants costs twice as much. I like the way this gravel looks in my plants. I'm sure I'll buy it again.

I ordered this to be used as a cover for the surrounding soil, and I had some potted fleshy plants. However, I found that it looked a little too unfinished compared to what I expected. Yes, I know it's natural, but still. All right. All right. However, I did find another use for it: I added it to some juicy mixture, and I found it a little too hydrophilic and dense. The juicy cuttings I planted in the mixture are thriving. I also used it at the bottom of some of the other plants I replanted to provide a well-drained breathing / drainage space above the drain of the container. Appendix 7-26-19: I do use gravel on the surfaces of some of my juicy containers. I now appreciate how it does not draw attention to itself, but to make the plant stand out. I'll buy it again.

I have a five-gallon tank with three moles in it. I tried gravel and pebbles, but I couldn't get rid of the green algae, even if I cleaned it once a week. Gravel and pebbles change green and regenerate green algae. My daughter recommended Heyan, and I've liked them ever since. My tank looks great and clean! No algae, no smog, no clouds. I highly recommend them.

It took more than 30 minutes to rinse to remove the blue hue. It's not worth it! I don't recommend it at all.

I bought this product because I wanted to build a freshwater aquarium out of some live plants. I have a 90-gallon aquarium with an area of 18 x 48 inches. The rock will be here soon, and it was expected a few days ago. Ever since I ordered a 50-pound bag, I imagined it would get bigger. This is because of my own preconceived ideas, not those of the seller. During the protest, I grabbed my wife's kitchen spoon and went to the back porch to wash the stones. This is the dirtiest aquarium rock I've ever bought, and unless you want muddy tank water (the instructions on the bag also tell you to rinse), you need to rinse thoroughly. The rocks range in size from what I think is small to medium, mixing a few larger rocks. Anyone looking for a natural appearance in their aquarium will be satisfied with the color of the rocks, which range from transparent to a variety of colors, including red, white, brown and black (natural colors). These colors are combined to give the overall color of light brown. I included a picture that did not make the product fair. I already have about 25 pounds of gravel, I've mixed it (75 pounds in total), and give me a 1.5-inch gravel bed. If you have a jar of my size and just want a light lid for your jar, then a bag might be good. I would suggest two bags, but maybe more if you want a planted tank (I'll get more gravel). However, this is only a suggestion, because the setting of the tank depends largely on the individual.

It's not the size of a pea. These are coin-sized pebbles that will serve several jobs well. They are well polished and the color is as I expected. I didn't call them, but I wish they were there. I plan to get more.

I'm worried about using this stone as a substrate for the floor, but pebbles treat more than 550 psi, and once epoxidation and smoothing, they become a wonderful stone floor. I know if you're looking at these fish tanks, I know you're looking at this like WTH. But that's why I write comments in case someone wants to make colored stone floors.
