It's only a short time, but it's really like a pencil. It's well done. It's a great job. My only observation is that especially colored lead fillings are quite soft, close to crayons, but they are really good and work on all types of surfaces. I wish I had bought one a long time ago. In addition, because the pencil does have a needle nose tip, it is a bit awkward to pick it up when you use it in the traditional way. Editor: now that I use more, I order regular graphite because I use it in woodworking projects and think graphite will be harder than color supplements, but lead seems to be almost the same. This is quite annoying because it is not like any pencil I have ever used, because after sharpening and drawing a 12-inch wire, the lead needs to be sharpened again. Only the first 2 "line is brittle after the line, it is almost 1" thick. I looked to see if they offered any different types of graphite, but there seemed to be only one I bought. I guess it will be useful to mark through holes, conventional pencils or sharpens are not suitable, but at least for me, it will not be a universal pencil, unfortunately, will have to find a better choice to meet my general needs.

I've been marking steel with these for years. Given how thin the tags are, these allow you to achieve lethal accuracy within .001 ". It's not that my job is so sensitive, but it's great to do repeatable marking and cutting without using my CNC or milling machine. In addition, these are great marks of clean metal, rusty metal, greasy metal, paint metal, and absolutely perfect tool work. This is also the best option because it contains some additional tips.

As an electrician, I'm not very useful to carpenters' pencils, but I often find myself making marks that I need to remove once, but not often enough to carry an ordinary carpenter's pencil and a pencil sharpener. I grabbed this because it relieved my need for a knife grinder and my fear of carrying wear and tear, because my tools were brought with me. I don't expect too much of the pen tips of ink cartridges. I think they're like ordinary mechanical pencils. I break them three or four times when I write a paper, but these tips are strong. I've been using it to make all my markers, and I don't have to change the first tip in the month I got it. Then find a second pencil full of tips, and they give you a bunch of more replacement tips. I'm sure I'll lose these two mechanical pencils before I dream about these skills. This is a mindless business for me. I can't speak on behalf of carpenters, but from what I've seen, even for them, skipping this is just that old dogs can't learn new skills. I will give another pencil to a carpenter friend of the company where I work, and I will update his preferences or dislike it in a few months. * Editor * I just found out in an accident that LED prompts are double-sided, actually twice as much as they already give you. I think I need to send them another $5 so I don't feel like I'm fooling them. The value of this pencil is endless. Although I must admit that I found out about it.

These are amazing. I work in a commercial building restaurant. I always mark things with pencils and put them back where they belong, such as stalls, chairs and tables. Because everything looks similar, but there is little difference, so I need to go back to my original position. I sharpened this pencil with a multi-purpose knife. It never broke on me. I was rude to them. I actually cut the pencil in half, made two pencils and attached them to the pencil pull, which is one of my most commonly used tools. I've tried Home Depot pencils, which are good, but these are great. In fact, my favorite pencil is the red pencil, but it is too bad, so the online evaluation of this pencil is very poor. Buy these Owen pencils I used to use the Home Depot brand, ordinary pencils, wood crayons, but I like these Owen pencils best, as well as cherry blossom solid paint markers, which can be written on almost every surface. If you like gadgets like pens, watches and knives, I suggest setting yours to mine and hanging it on your belt ring. It's very convenient at the scene!

This is the first time this type of ruler has been used. The parts look of good quality. I knocked down some stars because of some small problems. The measuring marks on the axis are well carved, but painted gold, which makes them mixed with the silver of the axis and difficult to see even in good light. I want the head of the thumb screw to be a little lower. That's it. It's a little clumsy to use. Finally, this is the most important one to me. The leaves are not only dull, but also extremely dull. I didn't think they were razors, but they were sharp enough to cut. When I put my fingers on the blade, they feel like the unserrated part of a regular butter knife. I tried it on a pine tree, and its marks were more like pencil marks than scraping cones. In fact, my scraper point cuts better. I assume these can be sharpened, but I don't know how long it will take, and these are so dull. All three blades are as sharp as thin washers. Then, again, maybe that's the difference between cheap cutting gauges and expensive cutting gauges. Will I buy it again? yes, a little adjustment, it will be a very good tool. Some paint thinners and black enamel paint and some time sharpen the blade, which is good to go. Update: it took all 3 minutes to sharpen the blade. A few times through my little diamond file, it's good. It is great for price.

Made in America! After reading all the negative comments, I breathed a sigh of relief to see the American letters covered on the scribes' pens. The general must have sorted out their things because it was a solid tool. Sharp tip, light weight but strong structure. You can't ask for more under $6!

This is a very good tool for its application. It does have a few problems that can be solved in five minutes with a piece of sandpaper. First, the groves in the bucket around the pencil need to be enlarged. This can be done with a piece of sandpaper in the grove to remove some material. This will allow the bucket to hold the pencil more tightly. Second, you need to remove the ridge at the end of the barrel (see photo of the green arrow). Removing the ridge line allows the barrel to insert into the center of the tool clamp area (red arrow). Doing so keeps the pencil locked and prevents it from moving. Hopefully this will help others improve their experience with the tool.

I bought this for my father, because he works in the construction industry, doing small projects around the house, I know he will like it, because it can really collect all the gaps you rely on! Amazing product! It's also good, sturdy and compact, so when you take it back for tracking, it doesn't slide out of position. I suggest tracking gently b / c pushes the small panel back and out of position.

My husband has wanted something like this for some time and really likes it. It is of good quality, easy to use, and has good details (such as magnets) that show that someone has put some ideas into the design. It makes difficult measurement easy.
