It works, but the anti-siphon vacuum circuit breaker drains the entire system into the valve box each time it is closed. This is because my valve box goes downhill from the lawn. This does not happen if the height of the valve is equal to or higher than the pipe in the lawn. Plastic pipe threads are overloaded and will not break unless you tighten them too tightly. Use plastic accessories, use polytetrafluoroethylene pipe sealant instead of polytetrafluoroethylene tape, and slightly self-control. The adjustable valve is good. I can cut the whole system instead of adjusting the personal sprinkler, which will never work. The valve I replaced (the horse stepped on it) had no adjustable valve. I couldn't get the manual lever to work. This is the case with another Orbit valve. I don't need that feature. I just tried it out and couldn't make it move.

This is a high-quality lid, once in place, just a simple twist can be close to the body. I have a 7 "sprinkler bonnet, but I can't find a 7" anywhere, even Home Depot. (they sell 7 ", but the actual size is 6") I think the price is very fair. Great experience with this seller and satisfied with the fit and quality of the lid.

I ordered three of these valves in my recent order and installed only two of them as alternatives to the old Orbit irrigation valves, which have a "water owner" logo on the top. They are very easy to install and work perfectly, immediately without leakage at all. Other commentators have reported cracks and leaks in castings, but this is not my experience. I have been using Orbit valves for many years now and they have been going on for quite some time. This new version has a six-year warranty. I believe the old version has only a three-year warranty. I first used lawn elf-branded valves, and they didn't last long, but if my memory is correct, I think that might have been 30 years ago. These Orbit are much better than the (old) lawn elves. The price is correct at Amazon and is delivered free of charge the next day by Prime. What a deal!

I use it as a power supply for the "Snapper" capacitance discharge circuit, which operates the switch for my N-gauge model train layout. I've been using it for nearly a year, and there's nothing wrong with it. Its higher voltage is exactly what it takes to throw multiple switches at the same time. Other users say the unit died immediately after it was hung up, probably using its system, with a higher current requirement than 300 Ma, which is rated. It might be better to have a Orbitz model rated at 700 mA,. Verify the current requirements of the system before ordering transformers to meet these requirements. The irrigation system I got requires a supply of 500 mA (specified in the manual), which is undoubtedly too much for this unit.

Use this valve to control some of my immersion hoses on the garden bed. I got threaded fittings from NPT threads to garden hose threads and fixed the unit to my hose bib. Then run out a section of hose to the garden bed, where it is connected to the soaking hose. Bought a 24vac transformer, plugged into the zwave control socket, from the transformer to the valve to run some thermostat wires, waterproof wire nuts and viola! I have a zwave control valve, so I can water plants remotely and even set up a timing scene. I do need to keep the hose bib, but it's not a big problem. I do want to install a backflow preventer for the hose bib. But the valve has been working well so far (now 2 months), and I like the way I can adjust the flow of the valve.

Solid core (all 7). Rigid enough to push dirt, flexible enough to bend 90 degrees with a radius of 1 inch. Currently running all 100 feet of power 6 solids in my backyard. Good product. Just remember to use waterproof wire nuts, which look like they will last 10-15 years or more.

I am responsible for the management and maintenance of the sprinkler system in my apartment building. We have three of these 12 "pop-up windows at our entrance, and I noticed that two of them are leaking. I found four on Friday night and couldn't find a replacement locally online, so I ordered it from Amazon on Saturday for delivery the next day. I received and installed them by noon the next day! I took a simple approach because the pipe connection was at the bottom and removed the top, simply replacing the interior, nozzle and lid. In this way, I do not have to dig a deep hole, if we use the side port, it will be particularly convenient. I've never replaced these before, and I've been guessing what I need. That's it. They have adjustable nozzles, but I put the old nozzles on these heads and leave the new ones for another day. It couldn't have been easier to fix.

My valve has a leak problem, and if my existing solenoid is loose, the water flowing to the sprinkler is the best. This also led to the leakage of water. Some valves seem to be buzzing, too. After studying the troubleshooting of YouTube, I decided to buy a solenoid. It completely solves all the problems. Bought the second and wool, the second valve works very well. I bought two more for the rest of my area, and everything worked perfectly. And it costs a lot less than I go to the main box hardware store. Super easy to install and rewire. My sprinkler was installed 15 years ago. So I think it's time. Very satisfied!

It's strong. As expected. I expect this to continue for many years. Its lid is green, which makes it look much better than an old box with a black lid. It is easy to bounce open, open or close the valve of the sprinkler line. If I need another or even just a lid for any reason, the lid is sold separately. Compared with my local hardware store, the cost is very big! Thank you for your good product!

I bought this instead of Rainbird 33DK and thought it would save me $10. I tried, and even if it had only one nipple instead of two, it had no problem opening and closing my valve. There's no leak. It looks like it's going to last a long time.
