Once you get your right to measure and cut, it's simple enough. This is purely static adhesion, no glue, so you can reposition and clean remove. One of the things that stands out in other people's comments is that it is blue-gray, not black. The back of the product is blue-gray. On the other side of the glass, the side you peel off, the back side, is dark black. I found that the best way is to spray behind your tank, apply film, spray a little more on the back of the film, and then wipe off the water and bubbles with a card. And dry it. It went perfectly. Just don't be too enthusiastic about your scraping, or you'll scrape off some of the black.
I use this to hold my 20-gallon tank, but it can be used to hold a larger tank because I have to cut off part of it. This is the best price I have ever seen, especially because it has three sheets of paper / six backgrounds. I used the blue one, and it really lit up my tank. I used to have one with plants on it, which made my tank look dark. That's what I'm looking for!
I bought this background for my fighting fish. You know this fish tries to fight every fish on it, and he's as furious as a nobody! He kept walking back and forth, haha, I was like a picture, very stupid, it put a lot of pressure on my fish. Those fake fish are real to him. Ha! I had to put it on the opposite side of the stick and stone. It's funny, but it's cute. If you have a fish, turn it over! Ha, ha. As for the product, it is rolled up. It's painful to sit it flat. I had to stick it to the outside of the jar. It's not an adhesive. There are beautiful backgrounds on both sides.
I don't have high expectations for a $6 product. The dark color on the print is not what I already know from other comments. When I took out the drum, I was afraid that the back part was actually the front part (facing the front part of the tank), but this was a false alarm. If installed correctly, the adhesion is quite strong. I wet the glass with the edge of my credit card and was able to get all the bubbles out. Overall, I am quite satisfied with this purchase! I suggest cutting it at least 1 inch larger than the back of your tank, or you'll get a small gap at the end.
It didn't give it a full five-star, just because it wasn't as vivid as the ones in the pet store, and it had a strangely bright blue background that looked almost like a printing mistake. But it arrived a little earlier than expected, and another soda looked great on my tank! I have a tortoise and a goldfish, so the big round rocks match my pond exactly, guys! Now my tank settings look more complete!
You know what would be cool though? Is if you could click which direction ...
That's it. Ha, ha. This is what I ordered. You know what would be cool? If you can click on the direction you want it to roll up. It's really hard to use the black side when you have to fight nature to roll and keep it in place. Real-world problems. Ha, ha.
The appearance of this background is amazing, and it certainly looks better than the rope hanging behind my bear aquarium. Overall, this is a good background, but for two reasons, I gave it four stars instead of five stars. First of all, there is no way to attach it to the back of your aquarium, which means you have to record it, in my opinion, it will take away its beauty. Second, it is not suitable for 40 long. In order to fit it, I had to cut a few inches from the bottom. That is to say, I will buy the background again because it does make the overall look better.
It's easy to put together. I basically took out a cookie sheet and put one of the sheets there while adding moss to avoid water everywhere. It is now in my water tank. At first I was worried that my fish might be trapped in the hole, but so far it has been good. I'm not sure how long it will take for the moss to grow (to be honest, it looks bad now, but it's not the product's fault), but I hope it's only a few months. If I don't forget, it will be updated in a few months!
I just like the background. It's easy to cut to size. I like it in a better way than the styrofoam background on the outside. I don't need to use glue or anything, because I do have an external land tank, so it's perfect, and I don't need anything to keep it in position. It makes the aquarium really good, looks like a forest. It looks natural. I bought a 12x18 and 12x12-sized one, and I left the rock wall in my outer Terra jar and put the cork tiles on both sides, so my hermit crab was just surrounded by a natural wooden appearance, and the only openings were at the top and in front. I like it. It's a necessity for lizards, hermit crabs, sea turtles!
