How Does GOAT Work?

Resale products, such as sneakers, must be shipped to GOAT for verification first to ensure their authenticity and condition. Once the items are verified, GOAT ships them to the buyer.

Retail products, including apparel and accessories, are pre-verified and shipped directly from GOAT's trusted retail and boutique partners.

"Instant" products are also pre-verified and authenticated, and are shipped directly from GOAT's facilities to the buyer.

Does GOAT Sell Fake Shoes?

To ensure the authenticity of their products, GOAT uses various methods such as digital authentication, in-hand verification, and machine learning technology. If a product is found to be fake or not as described, GOAT makes every effort to replace it with an authentic item from another source. If they are unable to find a replacement, they offer a full refund.

Return Policy

Does GOAT Accept Returns?

GOAT accepts returns on items that are New In Box, New No Box, GOAT Clean, apparel purchases, and accessory purchases, provided they are in the same condition as when they were shipped.

However, they do not issue refunds or accept returns or exchanges on special items such as Vintage, Sample, ID, Custom, Defect, Pre-Release, any used items, any GOAT Storage items, any items listed as "Final Sale" on the checkout page, or any items shipped to a freight forwarder or a delivery address in the People's Republic of China.

What is the return process?

Customers have 3 days to request a return from the date they received the item(s). To initiate a return, they must tap “Request Return” in the GOAT app upon receiving their package, or contact GOAT through the “Submit Request”.

Since the sellers set the price, GOAT is only able to offer GOAT Credit for returns of shipped merchandise.

    When dealing with a problem, it would be beneficial to have another method of contact, such as a live chat feature. Relying solely on email correspondence can be unsatisfactory as it requires constant checking and doesn't allow for real-time, detailed discussions to address all concerns accurately.

    GOAT is an excellent app with a wide variety of shoes, and the products always arrive in good condition. However, I have an issue with their choice of delivery service. I've had a poor experience with UPS and would prefer if they used DHL instead.

    I purchased a pair of brand new shoes from Goat, but they arrived with scuffs and dirt marks. Naturally, I was quite frustrated. I contacted customer service and provided proof of the condition of the shoes. They agreed to accept a return, but I would have to cover both the original shipping cost and the return shipping. While this was understandable, it meant I would lose about $30 if I returned the shoes. Given that I had gotten a good deal on the shoes, I decided to keep them. Goat compensated me with some store credit. Despite the initial annoyance, I had a generally positive experience, thanks to their excellent customer service.

    I was concerned when I didn't receive my order confirmation email. So, I decided to reach out to GOAT's customer service late at night, around 10pm. To my surprise, I received a response in just two minutes. They provided me with my order number and the estimated delivery time. Even though I still hadn't received the confirmation email, having the order details reassured me. I'm planning to use the app to track my order using the provided number. I was truly impressed with the prompt response at such a late hour. This experience has increased my confidence in GOAT. A big thank you to them!

    The website is very user-friendly and I can always trust that the shoes I purchase are genuine. However, I wish the sellers would stick to the two-business-day shipping policy. I've been a loyal customer of Goat for many years and it's been an excellent resource for expanding my shoe collection, much to my wife's dismay.

    I've generally had good experiences with Goat. The only time I was upset was during my last order when I paid for pre-verification to receive my shoes sooner, but there was a shipping issue. Despite this, I continue to shop at Goat due to their competitive prices for the shoes I want.

    I had a positive experience with this website. I managed to find a pair of Nike shoes in a style I love, which was not available on Nike's official website. However, it's crucial to be aware of your shoe size because the size guide and recommendations on this site were not precise. Luckily, I'm familiar with Nike's sizing, so I was able to purchase the correct size. They only offer refunds in the form of store credit and the shoes were shipped from China, which could have made returns complicated.

    I've heard many positive reviews about Goat and my experience confirmed them. They consistently updated me about my order and even offered a small refund due to a delay in delivery.
