This is the best cleaner for your reptile's habitat; used and recommended by exotic animal vets for cleaning your cages and other habitat items. Basically, you spray and wipe and then if your reptile licks where you just cleaned, it won't hurt them.
Great for daily maintenance cleaning as well as monthly cleaning from top to bottom.
Chlorhexidine is also helpful if your bearded dragon has some stubborn shed areas. Just pour a small amount into their bath water so that it barely turns a pale blue and let them soak. Using a soft bristle tooth brush and brushing gently against the direction of the scales will help too.
Ergonomic sprayer holds 32 ounces of working strength chlorhexidine, plus 2 additional refills; just fill sprayer 75% full with distilled water, add the Chlorhexidine Solution 2% and finish filling sprayer up to circular line on the neck of the spray bottle. Using distilled water is said to prolong the “freshness” of the working strength solution, however we simply use tap water as we feel ours gets used well before any diminished effect occurs.

These Reptile Basking Heat Lamps, Halogen 75w GU10 work well with our Reptile T5HO UVB + GU10 Basking Light Fixtures. The GU10's compact size and efficiency enables mounting the streamlined fixture underneath the top screen mesh.
Selecting the wattage of the Reptile Basking Heat Lamp, Halogen GU10 determines the surface temperature of the basking spot. For example, we aim for 110-120 degrees with bearded dragons as measured with an IR Surface Temp Thermometer on a basking rock. Which wattage depends on several factors; the terrarium height and size, the ambient room temperature and in some locations, the season (summer/winter).
Whichever wattage is selected should be checked initially with a surface temp thermometer, and seasonally verified. A 20L should take a 50w or 35w, 36x18x18 start with a 75w, 36x18x24 a 75w and a 50w, 48x18x18 start with a 75w, 48x18x24 a 75w and a 50w or another 75w, 48x24x18 a 75w and a 50w, 48x24x24 two 75w's. A fixture with a second basking socket gives the flexibility of fine-tuning or seasonally adjusting by adding another bulb.

Carolina Custom Cages' Chlorhexidine Solution 2%; 1 refill makes 32 oz. of working solution – just add water! Great for daily maintenance cleaning as well as monthly cleaning from top to bottom.
The best fluorescent tube that we've ever used for our reptiles' UVB requirements! This UVB is necessary for your reptile's synthesis of vitamin D3, which is essential for the effective metabolism of dietary calcium in its bones and blood. Now protected by heavy duty Kraft thick-wall tube to compensate for Amazon's shipping inadequacies and UPS's irresponsible abuse.
Some reptiles require more or less UVB than others. A UVB 10.0 Tube means that 10% of the tube's output is UVB. Bearded dragons and similar desert reptiles require more UVB and a 10.0 tube is the better choice. Green iguanas, anoles and similar jungle / forest reptiles require less UVB and a 5.0 tube is the better choice in smaller habitats when these reptiles are younger. We also prefer to use the 5.0 tube for our translucent bearded dragons and for our silkback bearded dragons (“silkies”).
Some reptiles require more or less UVB than others. A UVB 10.0 Tube means that 10% of the tube's output is UVB. Replacement sponges for the Carolina Cricket / Roach Waterer. Sponges typically last 6 to 8 months. Waterer usually needs to be refilled or topped off every 3-6 days. Good idea to rinse out the sponge thoroughly and even use some chlorhexidine sprayed on for general hygiene.
We've tried all the alternatives and this works for us! Simply put it's a practical solution to keeping your crickets and / or roaches supplied with water. No more smelly potatoes, messy water gels or weekly expenses. The sponge wicks the water up and the crickets or roaches drink off the surface. Crickets don't drown themselves as they would in a water dish.
DIRECTIONS: You fill the reservoir up with water, screw on the base and sponge (upside down), then turn the waterer right-side up and wet the sponge THOROUGHLY under the sink faucet. Push the sponge into the “trough” of the base; making good contact with the holes where the water seeps in. Place the waterer LEVEL in your cricket/roach tub or the water may overflow the lower side's edge. Waterer measures 8-5/16” tall and 6” diameter. This will fit into a 56 quart or a 106 quart tub; which is what we use to keep our crickets and roaches in. Anything smaller than a 56 quart volume makes it likely that a significant number of your crickets will die prematurely; from smothering each other or from sweating to death by not getting enough ventilation. This is our 72Lx24Wx24H all glass terrarium. Sturdy, dependable, time-proven design. Functional without the gimmicks seen in many other Amazon terrariums.

Waterproof base tray is tempered glass 6.3” deep. There are pre-drilled drain holes with drain plugs. Very easy to assemble with sliding doors and key-lock security. Full steel screen mesh top gives plenty of ventilation. If habitat with water is planned, we suggest a fresh bead of aquatic sealant glue around the inside joints of the base tray for additional leak protection. We also strongly recommend a leak test of the base tray after terrarium assembly in a safe area. Heavy misting will require sealing the interior joints of the rear and side panels; misting should avoid the front doors.
Glass sides offer good habitat visibility and allow our 3-sided backgrounds to create interesting-looking habitats. These can be changed easily for a “fresh” look. Glass also does not get scratched by reptile claws or stained; is easily spot-cleaned or given a total monthly top to bottom habitat cleaning. With this larger terrarium, there's a tremendous variety in the possible habitat layouts. It typically takes two lighting fixtures to provide the recommended UVB coverage over 2/3's of the length of the habitat. These larger terrariums also give you the opportunity to have two basking spots.

These Natural Habitat Rocks we have found to be excellent choices for basking rocks, as well as for building habitat rock formations for various reptiles, amphibians and turtles.
Grouped by general size (medium or large) and color (Blue Green, Deep Maroon, Painted Desert, Uluru Red and Watarrka Rose). Hand selected to typically have at least one side basically flat. The medium sizes about 6” x 8” and large sizes about 7-1/4” x 12-5/8”.
As a basking rock, there's enough natural porosity that although the rock gets warm accumulating heat, it doesn't get too hot; as glazed ceramic tile or slate would.
