RUST ENCAPSULATOR: Iron oxide is no match for our original Eastwood Rust Encapsulator in a flat black finish. This aerosol paint-over-rust solution quickly stops surface rust before it can compromise the part's structural integrity. Rust Encapsulator penetrates deep into the metal to prevent existing rust from spreading or future rust from forming. It's also heat-resistant up to 400 degrees, which means it can be safely used in the engine bay or near the brakes.
HOW TO USE: Use a wire brush to remove loose rust, scale and paint. Remove dust, grease, oil deposits. Shake can for at least 2 mins after mixing ball starts to rattle. Feather surrounding paint with 220grit sandpaper. Apply the rust encapsulator can 10-12" from surface. Single coats dry to the touch in 20 min and are thoroughly dry in 3-4 hours at 68 degrees F. For greater durability a second coat can be applied one hour after the first. Allow 6-8 hours after last coat before applying top coat.

SURFACE CONDITIONING TOOL: The Eastwood Contour SCT is a heavy-duty professional quality tool ruggedly designed for many years of reliable service. Ready for surface conditioning or any paint or rust stripping project, it features a drum guard enclosure and a rigidly mounted "D" handle for maximum safety. HOW TO USE: Set desired motor speed by rotating the Speed Knob located on the top surface of the Motor Housing. 2k CLEAR COAT: Our special aerosol spray is a high-gloss clear coat spray that provides maximum shine. It will not only protect the sprayed surface from minor scratches but also allows it to maintain a clean a finish, that ensures the surface will look as good as new for years to come.
HOW TO USE: Use 1-2 spray passes with 50% overlap. Approx. 1.2-mil per spray pass. Allow 3-7 minutes flash between coats depending on temperature. Then fully cure in 12 hours at 68 degrees Fahrenheit, 35-40 minutes at 140 degrees Fahrenheit (IR drying).
