I ordered this VCR because my old VCR, which has worked for 15 years, has stopped working. My old remote control still works, so I didn't use the one that came with the unit. This is a great quick recording program, and you missed other promises. VCR is useful for programs that you may not need to keep. This unit works well and is easy to set up. It's easy without a manual. For my purposes, I'll give it a score of at least four. I hope this unit will last for 15 years.

First of all, I'd like to praise the person who packed the VCR. It was tightly wrapped in a bubble package. The shipping box outside is closed with a shipping belt with rope inside, sealing the box tightly. Due to the quality and time of the purchase, it was not damaged. Panasonic PV9450, the first image of VCR, was bought more than 20 years ago. There has never been a problem with this product, even when it faces a Y2K panic. A program recorded by a video recorder (when we can also record a videotape from television and it has a timestamp). I rely on this player, I have a lot of rare videotapes, and I want to catch them, so finding Panasonic PV8451 is a dream come true. As you can see from the picture, the production of my new VCR is very similar (the new VCR is the second photo). I received my new VCR, yesterday and played a movie. The remote control of my old player works on this VCR. The video played well, no strange sounds, no rewind problems (I still have a rewind machine, which helps not wear out the VCR player). I feel like I didn't miss a beat. My old racket died about two weeks ago and my ability to play again has been restored. I'm glad.

I need a video recorder to help with the transmission of VHS to DVD. It is arrived minus a remote control, but in good working conditions. It took a few days to move home movies from VHS to digital format, and I'm glad to have a new format of memory that is cheap.

Just opened the box and replaced the equipment I bought locally at Craigslist. It won't accept my tape easily. I won't cause you any trouble. The condition is advertised as good, if the publicity is very good, I will not complain. I plugged in it without even connecting to my computer, and it successfully accepted and ejected several VHS tapes as well as two different VHS-C adapters. Then I plugged in the device I used to connect to my PC, allowed me to convert about 40 tapes from the late 1980s to digital tapes of the 1990s, and started the program, and I was happy to look at these old gems, as they began to transmit all the videos of my child's childhood to digital. It's too early to write such an excellent review, because I still have a long way to go before I finish the project-but that's how VCR works in my memory. Quiet, automatically adjust video noise, good audio. Again-as advertised-there was no description, so there was no surprise, but I gave up my first effort to use the remote control to set the clock … I'm not the flash guy, but the remote control seems to be working-so I'll figure it out later. If things change, I will update this comment, but now-I am satisfied with the seller, the product and the price, I will recommend the seller and believe them, because the delivery is timely & the product is what they say it will look like.

I haven't used these old equipment for a while, but I like this one. A lot! I paid $70 for this used videotape, and my wife almost killed me. I was also surprised how little the VCR fell, even on Amazon, and then I started looking around. It wasn't until then that I realized I had got a fair deal. Just because these idiots are old doesn't mean they're cheap! I don't even know where to start looking for new VCR, but I did find VCR/DVD combinations, all of which cost more than $100. But with regard to the price is enough, here are seven reasons why I like it: # 1 it has a kick-down / fast-forward mechanism, very fast. # 2 it displays the remaining time on each tape on the screen because it should, but also includes a small chart showing your position on the tape. Start / middle / end # 3 it is built in the same way they used to build things. I had to run 50 tapes through this thing, old, dirty tapes, fast forward, rewind, and the beast was still ticking. # 4 stalking is the boss. I never remember tracking these things was very good, but this VCR has always been right. # 5 memory-I mentioned that when my wife found out the price of a second-hand VCR, she was a little angry. After watching an old family movie for hours, she was not so angry. # 6 it has three audio-visual interfaces-2 in the back and one in the front. I like the front one for my convenience. I plan to connect this monster to my PC through the EasyCapture system and capture all of them.

I have owned the VCR for nearly nine months, and even if I moved it many times when I rearranged my apartment, it didn't have any problems. It's also a very rugged piece of equipment-I have a second VCR, my TV, PlayStation 2 and alarm clock are stacked on this VCR, and there's no sign of bending under all the weight. Although the function is good, the layout of the general-purpose remote control may be a little difficult to learn. In fact, all buttons under the numeric keypad should be hidden by flipping or sliding out the panel so that the remote control does not look so daunting. Fortunately, the remote control has a lighting function that allows users to better see buttons in the dark. For those who use "piecemeal" entertainment systems, a single AV input set can be a drawback. However, AV switches (and the necessary cables) are available in most stores and websites that sell other electronic products. I never used a Panasonic video recorder until I bought this one. If my second VCR fails, I will certainly seriously consider another Panasonic.

Best VCRs Buying Guide

Clarence Tobin
Share post:

When we have decided to acquire a new video recorder, we must be very clear about what we are looking for, in order to achieve a successful investment. Among the most important aspects to consider when purchasing one of these devices is the functionality of the equipment. Also, the compatibility with various audio and video formats, connectivity with other devices and the Internet, product dimensions, etc. are important.

At present, the immediacy in everything we see and do has become essential, however, we cannot always be in the desired place at a certain time, thinking about it. Devices have been designed for television fans that in addition to tuning in the channels with the new digital terrestrial technology at the same time have the possibility of recording the programs.

You can then watch them after their television broadcast. If you still do not know the important aspects to acquire one of these devices, before looking only at how much it costs we invite you to read this guide to buy the best video recorder and complement your entertainment center.

Tuner

When making a comparison of video recorders you will find the dilemma of choosing between a tuner and two tuners. For you to understand in a simple way, if you buy a recorder with a tuner you can only record the channel you are watching, but if you choose (although it is less economical), a device with two tuners, you can watch any other movie or series while recording the program on another channel simultaneously.

Player

Videocassette recorders are equipment that at the same time function as digital terrestrial television receivers, and with the extension of mass storage devices through the high-speed USB interface, current recorders use this medium to store movies, series and programs recorded on external devices such as flash drives and hard drives.

They also allow through this interface the reproduction of various types of formats with which it has compatibility so that you can enjoy your content such as movies, videos, photos, music and images from your computer or other electronic devices to your TV. To make this possible you should check that the formats of your files are supported by your recording receiver.

Remote control and intuitive menu

Although many recorders include a front panel with buttons, it is always good to choose the one that brings its own remote control so that you can remotely configure the equipment. Tune in to your favorite channels, schedule your recordings and control all the functions of the recorder. Similarly, it is recommended that the receiver you buy has a simple menu and intuitive use so you can start using it without installation without complications.

In conclusion, it is also worth spending some time to read on digital terrestrial television technology to learn what is necessary about this new way of watching television so that you do not make any mistakes due to technological ignorance. Anyway, with this information, you can now select which is the best video cassette recorder on the market.
