I bought this to cut back on stainless steel straws because they are no longer available in restaurants. There's nothing wrong with them! Pay attention, this thing is very small. Looks like it's only an inch and a half long. Little giant!

I like shark bites on PEX tubing cutters. In fact, I use it to cut rubber hoses, fuel pipes, weeding trimmer strings and a variety of items that will fit in the cutting area. It was cut clean and cut into squares. The handle fits the hand, and it does not take unreasonable force to cut the PEX. You can use other tools to cut PEX, just as you can use PEX cutters to cut other materials and projects. You need to cut a beautiful square on your PEX to use the shark bite accessory correctly. If you notice, this PEX tubing cutter will cut PEX and other things. This is a convenient tool, just use it wisely. If you cut the item, blunt blade, it will not cut PEX, because it should be easy, so take care of your cutting tool.

I bought this for a small project. All in all, I used this to make 20-25 cuts in the L3 "copper tube, some in a small space, and I had to pull the pipe away from the wall and leave enough space for the tool. The last cut is still clean. There is a knack for using this gadget. Align the pipe on the tool, rotate the regulator to exert slight pressure on the pipe, and then rotate the tool around the pipe. One goal is to make an easy score around the pipe. The light score will be enough to guide the blade under higher pressure. Once you have this guide, you can exert more pressure to actually start cutting. Without this guide, or if you just put high pressure on it from the start, the blade won't stay straight, and you'll end up spiralling along the pipe.

This thing pierced my half-inch copper tube like butter. I can't believe it made the job so easy. Nice clean cut, just a few rotations. Be sure to tighten the blade slowly. First, simply tighten it to the point where it has just touched the pipe, score by rotating it a few times, and then rotate it half a turn around the pipe to tighten it. It penetrates much faster than you think. And very compact, which is great.

I haven't tried to cut metal with this yet, because I bought it specifically to use it with my hard pipe on the road. It also works well on hoses. I've used sharp scissors before, but it works much better. I have a hose custom loop on my main computer, but this is a new case, upgrading a few parts, and finally trying to mess up the hose when I change things. I have moved the hose loop to one of my backup computers. As far as I know, these should not be used with acrylic tubes. I'm using PETG,. It works very well. I haven't finished the bend loop yet, I'll try to update with the photos once I'm done. It is worth picking up the rigid finish bit to perfect your cut, but any cheap chamfer tool will also work to clean up the cut, so it will not cut your O-ring.

I used this cutter to trim polytetrafluoroethylene pipes on my CrealeEnder 33D printer. It cuts the pipe directly without breaking it, allowing filaments to pass through the pipe without hindrance. It will also work well with pneumatic pipes or my drip irrigation pipes that I use in my hydroponic tomato settings.

Nice cutter. I use these cutters almost every day, and this cutter is on a par with most cutters, even better than most cutters. However, I deducted a star because the picture showed a machined alloy knob, not the one I received. I would say that the new knob may be an ergonomic and functional improvement. It may just be an old picture, but I prefer unpainted knobs. I must say that the lever spring is a good design and I have found it very useful. I suggest tightening enough to get a good score, then start it and let the spring work for you. Other commentators have pointed out that the spring is tight enough to move the cutter forward, which may deform the pipe or make it difficult for the cutter to rotate. I don't see anything like this. I really like spring action. We just need to see how the memories of spring go by over time. In my opinion, the price of this cutting machine is still too high and should probably be in the range of $15.

1 ", 3" and 1 "cutters. These tools are ideal for cutting hard-to-reach areas and increasing the strength of the hands and forearms. I prefer these to Milwaukee versions, and they seem to be a little more durable. They are not as consistent as rigid 101, but they do not need to be adjusted. I recommend buying a set of 3 blades and putting them in the lid where they are stored. They pass through the blade faster than other blades, but this is a reasonable tradeoff for convenience and time saving.

The first time I used it, I was surprised it cut so fast, so I dropped it. I thought it would take a few minutes, but after going around the pipe about 10 times, it was done. The rollers maintain the straightness of the cutting very well. When I saw the reamer, I was skeptical about it, but it also worked well. If you need it, you can really use it to dig, or you can rotate it quickly to get lighter burrs.

A sturdy tool. Very sharp. It can be cut with little effort, and although I've only used it a few times so far, it seems to be well supported.
