Best Moon Filter Telescope Filters of 2026

SVBONY Moon Filter is a versatile filter suitable for observing the moon and planets with a broad spectrum of light transmission, allowing faint objects to be seen contrasted against the blackness of space. It effectively filters out man-made sources typically used in street lighting, improving the definition of the surface of the moon. The filter has a high-quality metal construction, threaded on both sides for stacking with other filters if necessary, and comes with a plastic box to keep it safe and clean when not in use.

The SVBONY Telescope Filter is a 1.25 inch polarizing filter designed for astronomical telescope eyepieces. It reduces the amount of light entering the eyepiece, enhances contrast of lunar detail and allows for maximum contrast of lunar and planetary images. The neutral colored optical glass preserves the moon's natural color and the filter thread is standard. With the ability to adjust light transmission from 1% to 80% by rotating the filter housing, users can achieve optimal performance and finer control of image brightness.

The SVBONY Telescope Filter is a 1.25" planetary filter designed to increase contrast and reduce light pollution for lunar planetary observation and astrophotography. The filter enhances the views of brighter objects like the moon and planets, cuts light pollution, and filters out selective wavelengths of low pressure sodium and other man-made sources. It is made of premium quality metal rim and thread with a blue glass lens, and will fit all standard sized 1.25" eyepieces and accessories. The filter comes with a plastic box to keep it safe and clean when not in use, making it a great gift for astronomy enthusiasts.

The SVBONY SV220 Nebula Filter is designed to help you capture clearer and more vibrant images of nebulae by allowing key light emissions from oxygen and hydrogen to pass through while blocking out unwanted artificial lights and skyglow. This means you can enjoy higher image contrast and more detailed views of deep-sky objects. With over 94% light transmission and excellent rejection of other light wavelengths, this filter enhances your photos even when shooting in light-polluted urban areas or during a full moon. It is specially made for color CMOS, CCD, and digital cameras, making your astrophotography experience easier with less need for complicated editing afterward.

The Neewer Telescope Filters Set includes a Lunar & Starglow Filter, a CPL Filter, and 5 Color Filters (Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue). The filters are designed to reduce glare and light scattering, increase contrast, enhance definition and resolution, reduce irradiation, and lessen eye fatigue. The standard 1.25" thread size fits most telescopes, and the color filters can be easily screwed into the eyepieces lens. The 5 color filters each have unique benefits, including making Mercury and Venus stand out from the blue sky during the day (Red), increasing contrast between light and dark areas (Orange), bringing out the polar ice caps on Mars (Yellow), enhancing frost patches and polar projections on Mars (Green), and splitting the binary star Antares when at maximum separation (Blue).
