The nibs are solid plastic but rotate to reduce friction. I advise using a bare screen or regular glass protector to prolong nib life. Switching nibs is easy. The M2 has a stronger magnet than the normal Microsoft Surface pen. No software or drivers are needed, and it charges via USB-C. The responsiveness is notably very good for an MMP device. This pen makes my drawings almost indistinguishable from those made on my Wacom tablet."
