Just like everything else I bought of this brand. They work well, not show off tools but they do the job. Can't see putting 3-400$ in tools to keep a Jeep running, besides I dont feel bad tossing them in the back so I have them if I need them.
Wow what a set !!!!If I threw these at a brick wall I'd be fear full for the bricks. These are some really honking sturdy large extenders. Got them with my Tekton torque wrench for auto work. These are advertised for impact wrenches so I guess that means its that much more torque resistant.
Yes it will impact your torque reading a bit if thats what you use it for but your torque and your car are far more impacted by guessing with a regular wrench or ratchets and destroying your threads or your automobile shaking apart.
As regular extenders these cant be beat. I was in the big box store and looked at the cost of the other name brands and I'm glad I bought these, saved a bunch of money. The case you see in the picture is actually a high quality carrier, not just a junky plastic display wrapper.
These are perfect they work great and the variety of sizes is just what we needed however I give it 4 stars not five for the one inch rock that was embedded in the hole in the end of the biggest wrench.
Didn't want the hassle of returning it so my husband took about an hour to get it out of there. That's just poor quality control.
I use these with a ratcheting driver set so I can get to those areas too narrow for a stubby handle since the collar on the driver is only 3/4" long. This set was less than a buck more for a single 6 inch extender.
It's like getting two extenders for a buck more than one.Well, almost. The 6 inch extender is 5-7/8", the 4 is 3-15/16", the 2 is 2"(maybe 2-1/32"), to be more precise. The collar on each is almost precisely the same size, 1-5/16" (within 1/64"), but the shank is likely not uniformly set from one pack to another, so each buyer is likely to get slight variances in length of each extender.
This seems true for most extenders on the market. For me, I was able to get 5-5/8" from the 4" and 2" extenders combined and 11" from all 3 extenders combined, give or take 1/32". All measurements are made without placing them in the driver.
Purchased for my husband to replace originals. He wanted 2 so he now has a backup. He felt it was definitely worth the price.
I recently bought a 1. 2 inch heavy duty impact to deal with the lug nuts on my car, but I also needed to drill something for a little project I had going on. I didn't feel like buying a whole separate weaker drill driver, so I chose instead to buy this adapter and some titanium drill bits.
Turned out to be a great choice. This adapter (comes with 2 of them) is very high quality, has the locking metal with the o-ring and indentation to keep it from coming off the impact. I was able to use it with the 1.
4 inch drill bit I needed, and it worked flawlessly. If you have an impact with a 1. 2 inch connector, you got to get one of these. That way, you won't need a smaller impact either, saving you money and making tasks easier.Highly recommend.
It has a nice set of extensions in many sizes as well as different adapters to be able to use in different combinations, for what I paid it's a good value over buying everything separate some of the ujoint adapters cost maybe $5 each at stores, you get 3 in this set as well as other sized adapters, comes in a sturdy black plastic case to keep them organized.
Happy with the purchase.
I am a professional mechanic. I bought this set of adapters because of the quantity. Knowing I would break them. But I haven't. I use these in a Milwaukee fuel impact driver. I use the 3/8 adapter most. Tightening sometimes up to 60 foot pounds.I'm very impressed.Highly recommend.
Looks really good and seems like good quality. Not used it yet as it was bought as a gift.
I am using this extension with a hex-drive Forstner bit (FSA-280194) to cut holes in wood framing so I can run additional cables. The bit I am using is designed to work with quick-change devices, and it works well with this extension.
The bit just snaps in, and the extension holds the bit tightly - it does not spin freely, and I can pull the bit back out of a hole without the bit coming out of the extension. Having this extension allows me to get into a lot tighter spaces than I would be able to if I had to shove the drill right in the space, and some framing is too thick for just the bit to go all the way through.
My use is light duty (just some DIY around the house) and a normal drill. I can't say how it would work with an impact drill or heavy professional use. The extension itself is designed to work with hex-drive quick-change systems, too.
Flexible Drill is working great at home and vehicle very well. Especially, drawer's handles and clips, I did not need to move anything to open the space. I could tighten the inside screw from outside. Also, some vehicle parts were hard to reach by electric drills with straight extension, but I could reach them easier with Flexible Drill.
Great bargain and very useful for those times when your drill's snout is just too fat and/or can't reach your target area. Have already used several parts to good advantage on a backyard project. If you are into the 'quick connect' drill accessories (and you SHOULD be) this will be a very welcome addition to your tool set.
Great addition to my cordless impact driver. Allows me to use my smaller sockets, normal size and especially my larger sockets for my car lugnuts and other massive sockets. Very durable and well built. These are found at a fraction of the cost of what I would pay at Home Depot or Lowes, but provide just as much quality.
They fit the sockets of their respective size perfectly and have never had a socket come loose or fall off. I Would definitely buy these adapters again, but I don't see mine breaking any time soon! I use the Ryobi 18V impact driver and these fit perfectly.
The fact that the impact driver has a quick connect for hex bits is awesome and having these socket adapters just adds to the convenience and efficiency when I am working on a job.
Works on for a while, good chance of snapping. Funny thing is I think the colored collars are a better grade metal.
Used this past week on coil springs and worked like a charm on 1/2" socket
All items were new and clean fits the respective sockets properly, fitted the drill properly used it on some small projects worked fine. Did not do anything excessive or heavy duty
