(I fill my mug with water, then pour into kettle to reduce having to measure amount) As soon as you turn the heat on to boil your water, start to grind your coffee. For one cup (8 fluid oz.), you will need to use about 2.5 level tablespoons or about 18 grams (more or less depending on taste) of whole bean coffee.

2. Is a pour over coffee maker worth it?

Yes. Pour over coffee brewing is worth the effort. It's mentally rewarding, produces delicious coffee, and genuinely improves my life.

3. Why is pour over coffee so much better?

The pour-over method allows you to control the temperature of the water, the speed at which it goes into the grounds, the amount of time it brews and how much it makes.
