WORLDS MOST COLOR NEUTRAL POLARIZER, GUARANTEED: A perfectly flat transmission curve would yield a perfectly color neutral result, and while there is no such thing as a perfectly neutral CPL filter (contrary to what other filter makers may claim) the X4 CPL is the most color neutral any CPL filter, guaranteed.
WORLDS MOST ADVANCED POLARIZER: All commercially available CPL filters exhibit a yellow cast due to a gradual transmission increase starting around 600nm and then spiking at 650nm onward into IR. With our X4 CPL film we achieved a gradual transmission decrease from 600nm onward, and instead of spiking uncontrollably near 650nm and far into infrared, the X4 CPL sees very controlled transmission into IR, without the curve spike. Result: Warm and lively images without the apparent colorcast.

Our modern coating chambers are air tight, producing a uniform coating visible to the human eye when holding the filter at a right angle to a direct light source.
MRC4 CONSTRUCTION: Two layers of MRC are applied to each side of the optical disk, resulting in a total of 4 layers (MRC4). In addition to being structurally harder than the glass itself, our MRC coating process increases light transmission from 94.6% (without MRC) to 97.8%. High-quality 3-stop ND filter with MRC16 coating, Schott B270 glass, and Nanotec technology, offering excellent clarity and color accuracy, in an ultra-slim, weather-sealed design to reduce vignetting and protect against environmental elements.
Low light transmission and green flaring are common problems with uncoated glass. The Breakthrough X4 line of filters feature our state-of-the-art 16-layer Multi-Resistant Coating (MRC16) and our nanotec Nano Coatings which combine to improve optical performance and durability.
Eight layers of our proprietary MRC are evenly applied to both sides of the glass disk which reduces reflections and improves image quality and contrast by eliminating stray light. Additionally our MRC16 layers protect the filter surface since the coating is structurally harder than the glass itself.
Our breakthrough nanotec Nano Coatings are also applied to each side of filter to further defend against the elements. The nanotec coatings repel dirt, water and other debris by beading up on the surface rather than absorbing - making the filter easy and fast to clean.
