Just like the Original Commando Head but with a thin, slick coated running line integrated into one with a smooth, gradual taper.

The time has come to expand upon our Mono Running Line selection with our new OPST Oval Line. It has a more oval profile than our round Lazar Line, which has several different characteristics.

It has less memory, is easy to handle, and shoots very well. The oval shape created more torsional strength, resisting line twists.

This also results in less drag and less tendency to get caught up in the first stripping guide when shooting. This oval mono has great knot strength and is preferred by anglers who want the benefit of a mono running line with a little more handleability.

Our sinking tips come in 5, 7.5, 10, and 12 foot lengths. The 10 and 12 footers both have 3 different grain weights to choose from (while 5' and 7.5' have 1 grain weight) Within each length and grain weight, they come in three different sink rates (which we call Riffle, Run and Bucket; for shallow, medium depth and deep water).

The above means that you can get tips of varying sink rates but with the same grain weight. So you don't have to change your cast to fish different depths of water. For example, all of our 5 Foot Micro Tips—the Riffle, Run, and Bucket, all weigh the same, even though there are three different sink rates, or densities.

All of our tips have the line ID on the rear of the tip (towards head), while all the heads have the line ID on the front of the head (towards tip). This way you're able grab the connection and know which head and tip you have on at the same time. All of our heads and tips feature strong welded loops on both ends for easy rigging.
