Pre-cut foam fits a 1911 Pistol (check the size diagram image for compatibility), plus 6 single stack magazines (+1 in the magwell). There are also perforations below the barrel that can be cut out to accommodate a flashlight or laser attachment.
The case is waterproof, dustproof and crushproof with a lifetime warranty. It is airline approved for checked luggage and legal for vehicle transport in all 50 states. 2 metal reinforced padlock holes will take a customer supplied padlock and ensures nobody gets in without authorization. Fold down handle stays out of the way when not in use & has a molded texture which provides a comfortable grip. Built in lid-stay ensures the lid stays upright when open and metal pins make the hinges robust.
Outside ribs on the case deflect impact when being shipped and wide latches allow the case to be opened with thick gloves. A manual pressure release valve will allow you to equalize the atmospheric pressure when traveling to higher elevation.
