"I was quite pleased with my purchase. I was a bit taken aback when it arrived without the ball attached. That could have been my misunderstanding of the product description. I recognize that the ball needs to be installed differently for a rise rather than a drop. Attaching the ball does require a 1-inch socket or wrench, along with another wrench to hold it while tightening. Many local auto parts stores rent out torque wrenches, and you might find tire or repair shops that can torque it for you. The hitch includes a large crush washer, so even without the torque wrench, you should be fine if you get that flat. I needed a much lower drop for my new truck, and this hitch was reasonably priced. I just completed a long road trip towing a travel trailer, and everything held up perfectly and looks great."
