Come on, pull it up! This lawn mower has replaced the same lawn mower. I have had to replace it for six years since the spark plug passed through the thread and peeled off the aluminum head.

The best lawnmower I have! With all the latest Toro features, such as no change in oil, step by step. It's quiet. The coverings are great: they don't get bogged down, clogged, or leave traces of newspaper clippings like my old lawnmower. After stacking, there was no smell of gas or grass in the garage. I should have bought a higher-end lawnmower years ago. Just say "no" to MTD and other mass market products, your local professional dealer has continuous inventory, and you won't regret getting a higher-end lawnmower-it's just better than any lawnmower I've ever owned, turn on a dime, variable speed control, great! As soon as I pull 10 pounds of resistance, it starts, the easiest pull to start the lawn mower, which I've ever had. Start the first pull in the driveway, and once you're on the lawn, start the first or second pull. I only cover, so I can't comment on bags or side slides. There are some fragile plastic parts, but the air filter is in a very convenient location. It's a little difficult to adjust the tires, but it's not bad.

Once again, I see false comments, and people make bad comments about a great product on Amazon. I've bought two now, both of which are great. None of them has a problem. I bought one for me. I liked it very much. I also bought one for my daughter. Easy to assemble, ready to use out of the box. I recharged and oiled the battery, which has been running for a year without any problems. Oddly, it has a 2-star comment here and a 4-star comment on other sites. I'll tell you something!

I didn't buy my TimeMaster, from Amazon, but I've been using it for eight years, and I'm just starting to replace worn parts. The Toro is the best fit for a small lawnmower, and you can't beat a personal speed system at all. When the deck finally rusts, I'm sure I'll buy the same one again.

During the nearly 30 years of homeownership, I owned a lot of lawnmowers, and I always went back to Toro. Why would you do that? The good news: for me, I like the personal speed feature, which allows lawnmowers to walk faster when you want, or if you want to walk slower without having to do anything, not just push the lawnmower. There is no lever to shift, and no one is usually too slow. It's well cut. I can't say I found it better. Its bag is also very good, but I have never used a side discharge. If I don't pack a bag, then I'll cover it with it. If you don't try to cover too much grass, it will do well, that is, cut off 2 / 3 and leave 1 / 3. Ideally, only one to one is cut. The downside: it's true that there aren't many bad things, but these are just a few small things. So far, I have not found a thatched blade to fit its blade attachment curve design. I noticed that it used oil, and my other Toro had never used a drop. So I have to add it twice a season. I'm in Montana, so it's a short season. I will also get the grove or deep track in my yard from the same line as the wheel. Maybe wider wheels will help in this respect, but I'm just trying to adjust my lines and directions as much as I can. All in all: Toro is the best lawnmower I've ever found, for the above reasons & I highly recommend this lawnmower! Note: I have owned this model for three years. I bought it at home Depot at the end of the season. And I leave my lawnmower outside every year without covering all the snow for a long winter.

A reliable choice of lawn mowers. It's easy to set up. For the first time. Safety and cleanliness have been carefully considered. It takes a little time to get used to self-promotion. The jury has not yet reached a verdict on the quality of the cutting. Good, but. Better than the others?. To be determined

I bought this mower, not here, on May 13 2011. I bought it to replace a 15 year old Toro Personal Pace that was getting tired. It worked fine, but the motor was starting to smoke pretty good. The new Toro ran great. Still does. The issue is the transmission. I only use this for trim work. I have a rider to do the rest of my 1 acre lawn, so it does not have a hard life. 1 tank of fuel lasts 2 mowings. It started the problem last year, but this year it will hardly move itself. I did adjust the cable, but no help. My 15 year old mower will spin the tires if it is up against something, or going up a steep hill. This one just will not move itself unless on flat ground with a half full bag. Get the bag 3/4 full and take it on a hill and it turns into a push mower. Pretty bad for the limited use it has had. I used to think Toro was the best, but I have been reading about many people having the same issue with the new ones. Next time I will buy a Honda. I don't mind paying for quality. I do mind paying more and getting crap.Update: After a few years now this thing gets worse and worse. It started OK the first few times, but in very little time it will not start with less than 20-30 pulls. I talked to the dealer and it is a known issue with these auto-choke briggs engines. I wish I would have never bought this POS.

Problems since day one. The gas cap isn't threaded, so it won't stay on. There's always been a "pinging" sound in the motor, since I bought it. I've had it less than a full mowing season, and now it's sputters, backfires and dies. Toro's customer service is AWFUL, too. They told me to take it up with the motor manufacturer. I'm in the process of trying to get my money back. It's under warranty, but I don't want another one with the same problems.

Best Toro Lawn Mowers Buying Guide

Henry Colon
Share post:

Having the right lawn mowers is a start to get your yard neat and tidy. Toro is a well-known manufacturer that offers a vast array of options for garden beautifying. It is hard to choose the best Toro lawn mowers with a wide range of options available on the market. You have to consider about a number of factors before making a selections. If you are settled down of the listed options, but have no idea how to make a choice, this is the right page for you. This buying guide offers some main tips that you have to take into account before buying.

Price

When choosing a lawn mower, you have to consider about how much you can pay for it. Toro covers a wide range of prices for its options. Based on your preference and purpose, take your time to get a quality product with good price. However if you are looking for the highest value, you will need to pay more for it.

Corded or cordless

When it comes to a Toro lawn mower, you can find gas or electric models out there for options. The gas lawn mowers are commonly used and the electric models keep improving in popularity. The former type is known as delivery of strong power for heavy or extensive projects. But it requires more maintenance and has to be operated under the guidelines. The electric ones can be corded or cordless. It is lighter than the gas models with clean and quiet operation. The cordless can be limited in power level that it is not always capable to handle a whole project with one shot. The corded ones are more consistent in power but you can only move within the cord length.

Engine power

This is one of the most important factors you have to consider about when choosing a Toro lawn mower. It determines the engine’s power output that shared among different part like the blades and the transmission. Think about what you will use the lawn mower for. And choose a mower equipped with suitable engine power to handle the target project as you require.

Speed

How quickly you want your lawn to be cut? Some hold the view that the higher speed the better. That fact is not like this. Excessively high speed causes a waste of energy and risk damaging the tool by incorrect operation. The Toro lawn mowers vary widely in the speed. That depends on whether you want to use it for trimming, towing or mowing. Some models are design with variable speed settings. That makes it possible for you to regulate the speed when dealing with different projects.

Cut width

No matter which type you choose, you have to consider about the cut width. That depends on the area coverage you want to mow. A wider cutting enables you to complete the area with less passes. However a narrow cutting can be more flexibility particularly when it confronts with some obstacles. You can find wide ranges of the cutting width under this category.
