It's a great deal for $40. It is indeed in a good case and has five grinding wheels. The wheels are all the same, with the words "for general steel" written on it. They are made in Japan and look like high-quality, well-made wheels. I want a slide switch that can shut down the machine if I lose control. Of course, holding the power button is a bit painful, but I like it to turn off when I lose my grip. Pressing the button for a long time can be tiring. I hope they can make it easier to keep it longer and less nervous there. I am an old man, though a little weak. This is rated at 4 pounds and is the lightest of all the weights I have seen.

The magical grinder, unfortunately, I bought this, but I didn't realize that Amazon had an updated 7.9 ampere model that cost an extra $5.

This force will soon be noticed. I'm going to use these knotted wire cup brushes where I really need electricity. You don't need electricity like any less powerful unit that can easily cut the disc. When the flap disc starts to wear, you have to press harder to get the last point, which is also very smooth and low vibration, and this power is also very convenient. The paddle switch is easy to use because you have to hold the tool anyway, which is the only way a tool as dangerous as an angle grinder should be used. When I had a normal on / off angle grinder, unscrewed from my hand, it climbed up my chest, flew over my shoulder, and continued to rotate on the ground until I unplugged the power cord. I learned this lesson. I no longer have an angle grinder with on / off switches, I have 11 angle grinders.

I like craftsman's tools. I put them in the toolbox. I really like the way this works. Once, my brother asked me to press the button so I could use the removal flange and put on the blade, which was easy. I cut a hole in the top of my van with a metal cutting blade to install the fan. It cuts like butter. I'm glad I got this. I can't wait to use it on something else. Five stars!

I don't usually leave product reviews, but this device is definitely worth seeing. In tile work, I need to grind the 4-foot part of my flat floor because there is a hump. Last week I used my harbor freight grinder and DeWalt diamond cup, but after about 6 inches, it produced so much dust that I had to stop. Then I spent an hour cleaning the room. I ordered this dust cover, which is perfectly attached to my 4.5-inch port cargo angle grinder. The shroud comes with several different collar inserts, so you can easily find the most suitable spindle for a 4-5 inch grinder. I connected the rubber vacuum boots to the shroud, but my store vacuum hose was a little big and didn't fit at the other end, so I cut off the first part of the boot with a razor, and the vacuum was a good fit. My store vacuum cleaner has an 11-inch tight hose, but if you have a regular large 21-inch store vacuum cleaner hose, you need to buy a general purpose adapter for $10 on Amazon (see my penultimate picture), or buy a 2.5-1.25 inch adapter from Home Depot (Home Depot) for a few dollars and cut off your rubber boots like I did. I had just finished grinding the four-foot-high part of my floor in about 10 minutes, and there was absolutely no dust escaping into the house. I really can't believe how useful this thing is. I thought there would be dust, but there was no dust at all. If you have any specific grinding to do, this is an absolutely necessary part of the kit.

I'm trying to figure out what it contains. It comes with: (1) 9557PB angle grinder (1) side handle (1) 27 guard (1) type 1 guard (5) Makita grinding disc for steel / stainless steel (1) Makita Diamond Bladeplus user manual and course case. The housing is made of aluminum with galvanized hardware and latches. They should rust soon. I sprayed nuts and bolts on floor jacks and other zinc hardware to avoid rust, but I didn't want to lubricate the latches-I could never open the box. Oh, well-better than cardboard boxes. The lid of the box has egg box foam and stronger rubber foam, and the tools and each disc are cut separately. Provides good protection for fragile wheels. The other thing I like is that the lid is not fully opened. This is my first Makita (M*lwaukee and R*dgid fan-boy here), it goes a little beyond the vertical direction and stops preventing damage to the lid after opening the lid a thousand times. This is my first DGID (M*lwaukee and R*dgid fan-boy here). This is a great value and engineering great. It ate the BR*NKS R70 disk lock without blinking. Its small size allows me to maneuver behind a grotesque lock (closed clasp), facing a corner and melting through the lock with one hand. I have a 7-inch R*dg*d angle grinder, which has more power and lethality, but because of its size, it can't do the job at all. The other proves that there are appropriate tools to do the job. In this case, the smaller the better. I admit it didn't.

When I took out my Porter-Cable grinder (which was equipped with a 3 "cut blade) to install diagonal cutting for the valley on a metal roof, my friend said," forget it-my DeWalt won't do those cuts. "I moved on, and to his surprise, I did six slash cuts quickly and cleanly-all of which had only one 1.5 ampere hour battery. He really impressed him and said he couldn't believe it was so powerful. Power and weight are probably the most prominent features of this series of 20 volt tools. The design of Porter-Cable is praiseworthy. Now that 4-ampere-hour batteries are finally available, they are even more attractive. I plan to use larger batteries in circular saws, grinders and tiger saws, where extra life should be helpful. I found that I had an impressive run time on a 1.5 ampere hour battery on all other tools. By the way, I'm confused to find that people reduce the value of tools because they don't read the details of the product. Guys-if it says "naked tools," that means you have to buy batteries and chargers separately. This is usually a convenience for contractors like me who already have a lot of batteries and chargers. If you don't read the details of the product, this is by no means a reflection on the tool.

@ dewaltough proved to be the best in my toolbox. I'll never buy anything else. The grinder has lived a hard life since February this year. Then last Friday, it went through my entire quarry factory. This includes being hit by rock, submerged in water, pushed out by a large spiral drill and found in a pile of rock before being transported to concrete. Leave it alone for a few days, and it's still working. This is the battery on it when it happened. It still works. It's impressive. The trigger is a little sticky when it is turned on, but it still works. Thank you @ dewaltough for making a great product. # dewaltgrinder#dewaltbrushless#dewalt20v#Toughtools#Plant Mechanical

You can't be lower than the price of this project. For the same price as a pack of CDs, you can get the whole angle grinder * with * a set of 3 different CDs (a total of 5 counts)! One thing that surprised me was the installation of the shield. According to the picture in the description, I do not expect the direction of the incision on the grinder to be completely away from the person holding the tool. After seeing the direction of the gaps and labels, I foolishly concluded that the tools were assembled backwards, hoping that the gap would be closest to me, so that the shield was on my side. That's not how shields work. Yes, when you install a shield, its direction is 180 degrees from what you expected. However, the gap is * only * to allow the shielded tag to enter the slot, where it can rotate 360 degrees to suit your preferences. So, yes, install the shield with the direction shown in the attached picture, press it, and then * rotate it. Maybe the explanation here can be a little clearer. I'm sharing this information so that other people don't make the same mistakes as I do. Only time can tell us the lifespan of the tool, but the price is, Oh, my God, unless you're a professional, I can't imagine why you're passing it on to someone else.

I did a lot of research before I bought the Tilswall angle grinder. I first used it to remove some cement from our yard. It arrived today, but it didn't work after the rain. When I browsed the Manual, I added quotation marks to make it work. The manual is so poorly constructed that it doesn't even show how to lock the wheel to the blade bracket of the machine. This is my first time using an angle grinder, so it would be nice to see a manual with more details, something that can guide you through the whole process of setting up the tool. Everything looks good except the manual and its lack of clarity. It will be updated as soon as I use it. UPDATESo it rained almost all weekend, but this morning we were able to use this angle grinder to remove about 30 feet of remaining concrete from the small brick wall we demolished. I want to flatten the concrete so that we can set up a row of pavers to keep the soil in our flower area instead of running to the yard and soiling the concrete after it rains. This angle grinder works like a champion. Through the concrete, in some places as high as 2mi 3 inches. I use a diamond grinding wheel, and although it does produce some dust, it will pass through the concrete like a hot pan, making the butter disappear. Although there is a lack of useful manuals, this grinder is strong enough to handle your hardest work. Highly recommended!

Best Power Angle Grinders Buying Guide

David Dawson
Share post:

For many years, angle grinders have been tools reserved for professionals. However, its versatility and its wide possibilities, from its cutting function to the stone and concrete grinder, have fascinated DIY lovers. Currently, it is possible to enjoy these tools also in your home.

The angle grinders are very powerful equipment that is usually used in mechanical workshops and construction work. With them, we can cut metal, porcelain, and stone, grind or polish large surfaces. In this guide, we explain everything you need to know about these tools so you can choose the best one. Read on!

Before choosing a model for you, you should be very clear about the most important purchase criteria or buying factors that will make the difference between a good grinder and the best of all:

Power

When choosing a power angle grinder, the power of its engine is one of the main elements that you should look at. As we have already explained, you must choose based on the work needs you have. We advise you to always choose a power above the one you need since it is not convenient for you to fall short.

The smallest angle grinders, with 115 mm discs, usually have a power of between 300 and 700 V. With them you can face domestic work without problems, but they will be short for heavier jobs. If you want to cut concrete or porcelain, the best is a tool above 2000 V.

Case or Shell

If you want your angle grinder to last a long time, you should look for a model that has a sturdy and hard shell. Our recommendation is that you look for a model that also has some protection system against dust and water, as this will protect the motor and the ventilation system.

The power angle grinders also usually have an ergonomic design that will allow you to work with one hand. This factor is also important, especially if you are going to work in uncomfortable places or difficult access. Also, look at the safety cover for the disc and the power cable inlet.

Weight

Weight is another factor that you should consider when choosing your tool. As usual, the more weight more power. The most powerful angle grinders are large and heavy tools, which you must handle with both hands. These machines will be able to perform any job, including cutting thick concrete segments.

If you are looking for a tool for your home or to complete your DIY workshop, our recommendation is that you opt for a lightweight and compact model. The long neck angle grinders are usually very light and will allow you to work with one hand and without getting tired.

For those who enjoy doing small home repairs or for professionals looking for a powerful and reliable tool, a power angle grinder is perfect equipment. Both for cutting, polishing and roughing wood with precision and for working with metal and all kinds of robust and heavy material. Good Luck!
