"When I opened this saw, I thought it was going to be a flop. The blade felt like it was too thin to do anything. Well, I immediately cut myself (minor but my fault for being doubtful of the blade). This thing cuts! For reference, I'm 70 with 2 shoulder replacements. I've cut branches, saplings 3-4 inches across, brush. Cutting pine branches are like cutting butter. The only difficulty was with dead hawthorn stumps - very hard wood. But even those, I could cut through. The drawback - the handle does not cover the whole blade when closed so use care when putting it away. For the price, I'll use and abuse it and if it breaks, I'll get another one."
