Updated 9/27/2020: the table is still going strong, 6 months in. Nothing has broken, no warping. It still works great- this is an absolutely great purchase, especially at this price. ORIGINAL REVIEWThis is an excellent table. Every positive review will mention "for the price". That is because it is so reasonable and it is made largely of fiberboard.
I have played on some $300-$500 tables that are no better. I set it up the other day and here is what I think:The only question will be durability. Will the playing surface not warp, etc. But beyond that:ASSEMBLY:Set-up takes about 45 minutes.
You can do it with one person, but a second is helpful when you are aligning the playing surface. Take your time and make sure the players are facing the right way, as you do much of the assembly with the playing surface face down.
Always want to get game table for my kids. However I am not sure what kind to pick and worry I do not have enough space in my house, so nothing was purchased until seeing this 3 in 1 game table. I used to see some 2 in 1 / 3 in 1 game table which were made with plastic and in a much smaller size.
That kind of game seems not to promising. And this table is made of wood and have the real game table feeling which is much nicer. All three games are fun. The foosball is the one I like the most.
The quality of the build is good and it just play like the original size one but with less moving around. Somehow I prefer this smaller version. The pool table is fun. For the smaller size we expect the ball physic won't be the same.
It is harder to get the ball in the hole. But it is still fun to see the miniature pool game in action. And the last game the air hockey. My kids loves to play it at the arcade center.
So, the little grommets the rods fit through are made of plastic-made to look like shiny metal.Ditto for the feet. These parts get a lot of abuse-especially the grommets-and it was really a lousy, cheap thing to make those out of plastic.
The plastic also creates friction so that the rods don't spin as freely as they should. We have about 3 broken 'players' so far-the little plastic pins that keep them stationary break pretty easily. But it was a lot of fun for about 3-4 months until everybody got tired of playing-and it's still functional, just not a 'premium' experience.
FYI, there are a lot of people selling these who don't seem legitimate, so be careful who you buy from. This one arrived on time and in good condition, but we had previously placed an order through a different seller that was canceled by the seller, and shortly after I started getting fraudulent charges on the CC I had used.
This table is pretty sturdy. We've had it a few weeks now and our teenagers (and I! Have been enjoying it. The table surface is very smooth, and the legs are easy to adjust to level it nicely - ours needed readjustment after a few days, but we're also on carpet.
Perhaps it wouldn't have needed adjustment on a harder floor. Anyway, it's not solid wood - it's the manufactured-type wood, I'm not sure not the correct term. But you use a good amount of screws to put the thing together, so it seems very stable and well-made.
Installation wasn't too bad. I'm pretty handy, but it took me maybe a total of 2 hours or so to put it together. I highly recommend a cordless screw gun, though, of course. If you tried to screw everything by hand, it'd easily take 2-3x longer.
And of course, with the manufactured wood, you need to make sure not to overtighten, as you could strip it, so be careful not to do that. The holes for everything lined up nicely, so it was well designed. There are 1 or 2 very small gaps that I probably could've avoided if I'd gone a bit slower, but overall I was pleased with how it put together.
I love it...It looks amazing and was a perfect fit for my mancave. Pros: looks fantastic , I was nervous that it wouldn't look as nervous as other review photos but it lived up to it. I was worried about assembly as I had seen some reviews that said it was hard to put together or that you had to be a rocket scientist to put it together...
Not the case at all. The instruction manual was detailed and easy to follow. I put it together by myself in about 1-2 hour. My wife's bought furniture 10 times harder to put together. Great price for what you're getting. Cons: the bars are hollow and not solid metal- the foosball men don't seem like the best quality.
I might switch them out for solid ones. They look cool though so there's that. My only worry is that they might break after a bunch of drunk guys start spinning the bars.. One of the ball catches was broken but still able to be installed ( message amazon and they took care of it)Overall: super happy with the purchase.
Ordered on Wednesday night and got it Friday Morning. Gotta love prime shipping as I wanted this delivered before my son's birthday Sunday Oct 15th. I was debating between this one and the much cheaper "Best Choice Products Striker Zone Tabletop Soccer Foosball Table" for $30 less.
Unfortunately, the guaranteed delivery date for the Best Choice was "after" my son's birthday so I went with this one. So I ultimately paid for expedited shipping because I feel they are exactly the same foosball table. I rated this one 4 stars because of the price as you can get a full sized table for $80 at walmart.
Aside from the price, it was easy to put together (about an hour and 15 mins). Instructions were clear and all parts were present. I recommend using a regular phillips head screwdriver instead to screw the parts together faster. I already played several games today (saturday) with my sons a day before the party and they love it!
Overall good for the price. The best game is the foosball but it is also the one that takes the most time to assemble. The hockey, pool and table tennis are ok. One of the small pegs that holds tables together broke during a game change so have to buy a replacement.
Sturdy, solid table... Good for a basement, family table. Not a frat house table, though. Take your time assembling it, and you'll be fine. It's not a Ren Pierre, but it's really good for what I paid. YMMV, but you can't beat a lifetime warranty.
Great Christmas present for an old guy that minored in Foosball in college, 1973-1976!
As someone who has played foosball..... A lot, and on a variety of tables, you have to know that you cannot rate this based on a comparison of any full sized table. That being said, I am rating this solely based on it being what I consider a kids game for about age 8.
I think that older than about 8, and the playing field is not big enough. However, I bought it with the intention of it being used by children (and adults non competitively) and if it was only good for kids about that age, then that was fine.
Please take that into consideration when looking at my review. Assembly/design - ok instructions. I would do step 1 after putting together a side with the two end pieces. Other than that it was pretty straightforward. Pieces seem well cut, and the fact that the people and the bars were already together was nice.
This is the game table I dream of. Every time I go to a bar or outdoors, I often play with my friends. Ever since I discovered that my basement can also be placed in a pool table like this, I am very happy.
When my friends and I after drinking, we usually have two rounds. This table is very sturdy, cost-effective, and looks good. When we played, every detail was done very well. I was very satisfied.
We've had this table for a couple of weeks now and we really like it. I was looking for a nicer table for the kids playroom and this is perfect. I believe it's durable enough to stand up to the kids abuse and can handle the pressure when the adults play as well.
Seems to be solid construction and was relatively easy to put together. My wife put it together by herself while I was out of town with only a little help from my 8 year old. The table has a lot of "extras" such as the LED lighting, music and automatic scoring.
The auto scoring has been dead on with each goal no matter how fast the ball enters. It's nice that it has manual scoring option as well. It also comes with a light up ball so when you have the LED lights on and turn the overhead light off, you can play in the dark and it's really cool.
Classic Foosball table with high quality and a sophisticated look. The ABF delivery person mentioned that he delivers many foosball tables, but could tell based on weight that this is high end. This will be a great addition to our basement and the size is appropriate.
Both kids and adults will have fun with this. Honestly, I bought the product because of the name brand. Hall of Games is known for all their classic games and quality products. Can't go wrong! I plan on getting other matching games (Air hockey) and maybe a Pac-Man machine!
New Year gifts I prepared for children. The children were very excited to see this toy table. They had to look at the installation chart and assemble it by themselves. I would help arrange the accessories and give tips, otherwise the arrangement of the football players would be messed up.
Haha, not bad, the installation is completed in an hour! Immediately played for three hours on a stable table! Love playing football games!
We purchased this KICK Foosball table as a Christmas present for our family in 2017. Our 2 boys were 7 and 10 at the time and our house had too many toys. This table made a great gift for them to use with friends as well as for our family.
My husband and I handled the assembly over a 3-night span and had no issues. The directions were well-made and the parts and pieces were well-labeled. After using the table about a month, we noticed that the black veneer on one of the end pieces (near the scoring piece) was coming undone.
I contacted KICK directly and had a new piece sent to me for FREE within the week. It did take a bit to disassemble our table enough to reassemble it with the new piece, but we prevailed. Fast forward to one year later and our family still enjoys our foosball table.
I look at a lot of foosball tables and in the end I decided on this one for a few reasons: although I love foosball I've never had a full-size table before and so I wasn't quite ready to spend 500/1k or more - that will be on the next one; this Hathaway is a great 'starter' table.
I was also a bit concerned about the size of full-size tables, this Hathaway is a tad smaller than full-size and a nice compromise for us. And finally my son is 6 and we often have kids ages 4-8 in the house - I couldn't see getting a 'nice' table just yet until they get a bit older.
Here's what I like about the Hathaway:1) the quality is what I expected for the price. It's obviously not top of the line, but it's a good value for the money (<$150). Actually a great value2) the players offer surprisingly good control for this price point.
Ok first off, i read some reviews from people complaining about its quality. Do i need to remind you that you spent literally 1\4 the price of a competitive grade table!! Relax and take inventory on what this product actually is before you shoot from the hip on a product review.
This table is exactly what the description says it is. This is a beginner table for a person who just bought a house and cant afford a well known table, or somebody who just wants to fill their game room.
The fact is that this table is not amazing quality, but look at the price. After assembling this table i was surprised at how sturdy it is, i mean its not a rock, but it feels like it can handle a good amount of abuse before it breaks down.
The rails slide good, it has leveling feet, there arent any dead spots (thats because i assembled it using a level), it absorbs the sounds of the rails banging pretty good. I never had a foosball table so maybe i dont have a standard for quality, i see a good table that gets the job done and if it does break sooner then a competive table it wont be a big loss considering it was less than.$100.
I looked around at a lot of tables but did not want to spend too much money on one. Very happy with this one. Great sturdy table for the price! I put it together in about an hour. It seems to be really well made.
The instructions to assemble were so clear to follow, it was just so easy. It feels very legitimate and solid. The players slide easy and make it easy for the kiddos to use. The kiddos enjoy playing it.
This is a good foosball table especially for the price. Me and my husband put it together easily without any problems. Instructions were complete and all parts and screws align very well. It's made from the good sturdy materials. My kids love it.
Even parents can enjoy it. This is a nice, quality foosball table. Definitely recommend. No negatives to say about this product. It's exactly as advertised.
This foosball table quality is great. Since we got it three months ago, the whole family enjoy it very much. Tip for essembling the foosball table, make sure point the player in the right direction, I did made a mistake point at wrong direction at first, then I have to disassemble it the whole thing to change it to opposite direction.
Hope thats help tips. There are wide range price for foosball tables out there. This is excellent price, very sturdy and easy to play, great entry foosball table. I had it set up in the living room on top of the rug. It's perfect.
My two kids play with it everyday. It came with two soccers. There is also cup holder on the side, it's convenient. I am planning to buy one for my nephew birthday. It can't beat the price and quality anywhere else!!
I bought this because I invited a lot of friends to my daughter's birthday party. Almost all of them have sons. I was afraid that they would be bored so I bought this. The result is really good. Everyone puts down their phones to play together, and they have fun.
It is very recommended for birthday parties. It is also suitable for adults. But this is really complicated to assemble. Fortunately, my brother helped me.It took an hour. The quality is good. The only drawback is that there is no net for shooting.
For the low price, I was not expecting what I got. I see no difference between this table and the $300 to $400 tables. Very sturdy and durable. Easy to assemble but does take time.
