"This is a great polish, but in my opinion, Flitz's Paste Polish provides a slightly better finish. Flitz Liquid Polish is an excellent all-around polishing agent. I use it to clean all my firearms, from the cheapest to the most expensive ones in my collection, after a trip to the range. It always performs well compared to similar products. Just remember to reapply lube/grease to any firearm finish after polishing. I noticed a few spots on my Remington Model 1100 Shotgun Receiver after using Flitz, but I can't blame the polish as I didn't reapply any lube to my shotgun's factory blue finish. Remi Oil, Break Free CLP, and Hoppe's #9 oil blends seem to work the best to enhance the fit and finish, at least for firearms. Regardless of the finish, whether blue, hot rust blueing, stainless, nickel, etc., Flitz is the only brand I use and I've tried almost every polishing compound available."
