#1 Bounty Hunter Tracker Metal Detector

This thing left a deep impression on me. I only bought it for one purpose, so I had to talk to it. When we build our property and build our houses in rural areas, we must have waterlines and cables through some trees.

That was 6-10 years ago. When we do this, I think ahead of time (I think) and mark the lines with survey markers of whiskey. But over time, soil, grass, leaves, coverings and pine grass buried them, and anything that was not buried was exposed to ultraviolet light, making the plastic top of the beard fragile and disintegrating the top.

Gradually, I found that I could no longer tell where my lines were. Today-after a little practice or two, I went out with Bounty Hunter TK4 and found all my markings. I hope it can (apparently did) find the big nails left under the surface, 4 to 10 "below the surface." Without metal detectors, I couldn't have found these wires.

Other detectors may have found them; they may have found better ones. All I can say is-that's what I need it to do, so I pay for myself in a few hours of use! Everything else I do with it is gravy.

Hopefully it will be useful and interesting in other ways. While searching for the last paragraph of the waterline, I got a ping, and I was surprised to find one. So I switched to discrimination. There was a low hum.

The manual says. Nickel or gold! I'll dig in that place later. Who knows-it could be more than paying for itself.

We bought this just to find my engagement ring, which fell off when I waved goodbye to a friend in the driveway. Because it happened at night, I couldn't see where it fell. My husband and I spent two days searching for the dense meadows and bushes nearby in the cold weather, but without any real success, so when the man arrived, we were very depressed.

#5 Bounty Hunter Ranger Metal Detector

Okay, so you're working on, watching Youtube videos and reading online reviews, trying to convince yourself that the cheaper Bounty Hunter Land Ranger Pro is the best thing after Garrett AT Pro/AT Max.I see. You want to save some cash, but you still have a capable detector.

You can see from the people who own all three detectors I just mentioned that, Land Ranger Pro has a lot of functionality on the price, but it will never really compete with Garrett's AT Pro or, in particular, AT Max.

That said, I believe LRP's ground balance puts it at the front of the game, if you compare it to other Garrett detectors, such as the ACE series, or any other detector that costs less than $500. That said, I think Garrett AT Pro should be seen as a good baseline for detectors.

More in-depth review: performance / sensitivity: in terms of performance, LRP is a reliable executor who can detect 7 "- 8" inches of coins in my mineralized East Texas soil. The ground balance is very good, but not as good as the Garrett AT Pro/Max ground balance.

LRP may detect deeper than I've been through, but adjusting the sensitivity to more than 8 will cause the detector to give a lot of wrong readings in my area. After chasing phantom tones with LRP and digging up enough dirt to bury a car, I stopped running with a sensitivity of more than 6 or 8, otherwise it was simply annoying.

The AT Pro and most likely is a little chatty when the sensitivity is all …

#6 Bounty Hunter QSIGWP Detector Pointer

This is the first metal detector I ever had, and the first thing I wanted to say was that at the end of the first day, I knew I was going to get a different one. That doesn't necessarily mean it's bad.

In my four days of use, I found a bunch of clothes, a silver ring, and some other cool things. You'll get a lot of wrong signals. The deepest sensitivity is basically useless. This is a 2-inch or smaller metal detector, precise positioning is a nightmare.

The tip of the needle that followed was completely rubbish. You need to literally touch the metal to detonate it. If you're looking for a good and cheap tip pointer, you can buy a GP tip pointer, which is a Chinese version of Garrett Pro, and it's not bad at all.

#7 Bounty Hunter Quick Metal Detector

Magical machine! Find coins, rings, and even pick up an old coffee that can be buried 16 inches deep! Any day will be opposed to hundreds of dollars of detectors. It can also run forever on a battery. Easy to use, from "on-and-off" to the use of discrimination and scratches, it also has a precise positioning function.

Very light, can be used all day, will not be tired. This is the best detector I've ever used!

#8 Bounty Hunter Discovery Metal Detector

Plug and play device. Pin pointer technique / ground balance technique. > go to YouTube. Look, study. Waterproof. Not waterproof. Found a lot of good things. Coin ring. Including garbage. Even the best trash digging. Its position is very important. Google Earth Satellite has helped a lot.

Needle function is the best. After you locate the target. If necessary, the pushpin pointer function shrinks the position of the target again and again until it dies. Then use a handheld needle pointer to support (a 9 V battery). I bought this.

A set of headphones, headphones are also (must have). The wand can be inserted into a few inches of soil on the ground. But you need to turn the dial where it just stops buzzing, no more sensitivity. The headphones are shielded from noise, the device is very loud, there is no volume control.

Plus it should save battery life. The detector needs two 9-volt square batteries. The detector will show low battery power and turn it off at 6.8-7.2. The voltage still exists. So I suggest you buy a rechargeable battery station or 24 packs like me.

This unit defaults to a sensitivity of 4 bar when powered on. I mainly use 3, unless I am looking for deep relics. This reduces the overload of ghost signals. Or dig deep. I can locate it. Precise positioning. Use the needle pointer function to mine most of the targets of the 3300 model in 45 seconds.

In my opinion, this is the most important function.

#10 Bounty Hunter Ranger Metal Detector

I admit it's relatively useless, but I enjoy it! It first attracted me because its special price was about $170, usually around $400 or $500 (when I bought it). I think it was stolen, and I still think it's a very good deal.

It's really cool to use it and find something-even if that "idiot" is useless and worthless. It's an interesting little hobby, it's something I liked to do with me when I was 11, and I think it's a good unit for people who want to get into it.

Of course there are cheaper ones, and I know there are better ones, but the price is right for me. Some people complain that this is a bit too advanced for beginners. Yes and no. If you're buying this for an 11-year-old and say go play by yourself, then yes.

If you're an adult who buys this for yourself and knows how to read the manual, then no, it's fine. Is this a little complicated? I think so. But that's why I usually keep the direction with it. Or I know where to find them.

I wish the whole unit was waterproof, just like some of the more high-end units. Sometimes I can't stop this thing from finding garbage, but hey, the piece of garbage you don't decide to dig up may be something cool.

I can adjust the unit to avoid picking up the same type of garbage, but that's not an inherent problem with doing it all the time, and when I try it, it doesn't really work-Oh, okay.

Bounty Hunter Metal Detectors Buying Guide

Henry Colon

Price

Buy the best metal detector that is affordable for you. A certain amount of investment can be rewarding. A higher value of metal detector is able to get you treasures more easily. A discovery of gold coins or relic can pay back for the detector cost. That does not mean a better detectors will surely bring about more treasures. Your experience and where you are hunting also make effects. So balance your choice on budget and other factors in overall.

Ground conditions

The ground conditions can affect your choice of metal detectors. Many full-purpose detectors can work pretty well if you are searching in dry ground or sand. Many detectors may want to seek lost coins and jewelry. They use it in mineralized areas such as salt water beaches or wet sand area. Then the Bounty Hunter detectors with waterproof coils could be a preferable choice.

Discrimination

For metal detectors, discrimination means its ability to ignore or pass certain objects. It would be disappointing if you think you are getting gold but finally it is not. All metal detectors come with discrimination functions. But the high level models enable you to focus on finding the valuables.

Target identification

This is a feature appreciated by both newbies and experienced detectors. It identifies a certain type of metal under the ground and displays what it is in numerical or visual. That helps to find different treasures. It is a good way for beginners to learn what to expect from searches. It is useful because you will find different materials exist at different ranges.

Ground balance This does not mean how steady it will stand on the ground surface. But it refers to the natural mineralization level of the soil in search. It can affect the detectors work and give incorrect readings. The feature of ground balance solves this problem. It analyzes the mineralization and filter out the interference factors.

Sensitivity

Sensitivity features determine how your metal detector will react to the objects detected. Following the ground balance, sensitivity would be the foremost factor for your consideration. It stands for how detectors would react to mineralization in ground.

Tone ID

The metal detector will give a sound to tell you he has discovered soothing. You can get to know whether it is good or not so good by identifying the sounds. More advanced detectors tend to have a wider range of tones. Just like a game gives different beeps when you win and when you are defeated.
