I couldn't be happier. Hedge trimmers and chainsaw accessories are as good as my gas tools, and the battery life is much longer than I thought. In fact, I've never used more than 50% of the battery, even though I've used a trimmer to trim very large hedges and use a trimmer to clean up a considerable number of small trees and branches in my yard (and my neighbor's). In addition, the battery can be fully charged in less than an hour. The chainsaw trimmers were much sharper and more effective than I thought, and the first pair of branches I cut surprised me because they cut off almost all the roads and caught the saw. I also like the fact that these tools are much lighter than my gas tools, which my 77-year-old arms and shoulders appreciate.

I like this chainsaw. Take my advice and wear clenched gloves when using it. You'll be glad you did. Don't expect this saw to pass through things at high speed. It is made for more power than speed. This means that the saw chain moves slowly during the cutting process. This has proved to be a good thing because it provides more control. Because you basically use the weight of the saw rather than the lever to cut the slower speed is safer. I would recommend this pole chainsaw for anyone to trim trees.

Skeptical of literary and artistic products. But because the price compares with some other "well-known" product names, I gave it a chance. I have a lot of high-end tools and just want to buy quality so that they last longer and perform as I expected. It took me about two hours to see the saw. On and off. So far, a single charge is all. It cuts well, it doesn't lag behind, it doesn't stagnate, because I'm afraid that's going to happen to battery products. It was easy to cut a well-sized limb. Once the chain slipped, but that was because of the size of the limb. I should have drilled down, but I didn't. So it's not the saw. The battery is easy to get in and out and charges quickly, and this is the first time I have done so. The chain is very easy to wear and adjusts its tightness as needed. It is very simple and does not require tools. Automatic refueling. Good job. I have no complaints about performance or quality. I gave it four stars instead of five. It's just the weight. In addition. Maybe it's not the saw. It could just be my old arm! Nice saw. Buy it. I think you'll be happy! (and exceeds the price of many products)

It's hard to write a review that focuses solely on PH1400, because it can't do anything without one of the aids. If you want to read my comments on PSA1000, you can find it on PSA1000's product page. I have a Black and Decker pole saw (with extension) because I moved to an acre with a lot of trees, but thought the pruning was lightweight and rare. I also invested in 20-volt and 40-volt Beverd batteries and equipment, so this seems to be a logical path. My experience with EGO equipment began with the purchase of a lawn mower kit (with battery and charger). Since then, I have bought a blower, a PH1400, a EP7500 and a PSA1000. The cost of the battery is enough for me to use almost everything with my 5AH battery. This purchase may change that. I won't invest too much in accessories, because I've only used this on PSA1000, not trimming or trimming machines. Considering that the motor is in PH1400, the accessories are quite expensive. The construction of parts is a very typical EGO product. Large, thick plastic and a mixture of extruded and cast aluminum. It feels like a well-built piece of equipment. The control is intuitive and can be easily operated while wearing heavy gloves. The versatility of PH1400+ attachments causes solutions to be heavier than specific-purpose tools. With 5AH battery, I think it's a bit like headlight. This may be good for mobility, but I prefer to weigh a little more at T.

The box arrived early. Once I've arranged the axes correctly, it's easy to assemble; the installation is a little stiff, but not too hard. I charged the battery and went to work. After half an hour of work, I trimmed all the branches I needed and left the battery power. So far, no problem, but to be fair, I haven't used it enough to learn about longevity. Ryobi, IMHO, is a good product.

On the whole, I am very satisfied with the cutting effect of this thing. On the other hand, the tension regulator is a little difficult to achieve. It is a flat-edged screw, which makes it more difficult to adjust. Before you use it for the first time, I suggest you tighten the adjusting screw, which quickly consumes the bar and chain oil, and my exhaust seems to be clogged because the smoke comes out and the bar and chain parts get quite hot. As an airline mechanic, I can fix it myself, so it's not a big deal. I chose Greenworks, no matter what terrible stories their customer service has, because the product line has what I need, and sharing the same battery can save money. If you or your family / neighbor have no mechanical tendencies, however, I may not recommend buying these items online, but instead buying one at a local store, where you can easily refund or need service.

Today, I finished using the saw for the first time. I was very satisfied with the saw. I trimmed and cut the top of a dead tree that had fallen in the recent storm. I cut about 15 pieces of wood with two Bartleys. The pericarp ranges from 11 to 6 inches, and the saw handled it effortlessly! It's about half as fast as my atmospheric saw, but it's easy to start, and it's pretty good. I haven't used it as a pole saw yet, but there is no doubt that it will be very convenient. It won't replace big saws to cut down powerful oak trees, but it's great for yard cleaning and pruning trees. My only company is that it uses more chain oil than peanut oil, and it takes some adaptation to squeak the trigger before pressing the button.

This thing is so great that it is built like a brick. The house. The pole / handle is stronger than any gas-powered rod saw I have ever seen. It will be seen through the limbs far more than you expected at first glance, 6Mel 8 "is no problem with the appropriate technology." I give this 4fan because it has more potential, and a few questions, but don't kid yourself, may you find a more capable gas-powered saw. This saw is first-rate. Good: 1. The chain is sharp and can quickly make any reasonable limb work for a short time. The construction quality is very good, and the rod is a kind of rigid fiberglass, which gives it enough rigidity and weight. The blade / chain combination will take appropriate limb cutting techniques when large limbs … But you still need not to be an idiot, and if you're not careful, of course you can tie it to a folded arm, but it's your fault, not the saw's fault. Although it is a bit long, it is a magic saw that can cut small trees like hedges and make them work for a short time. It's very comfortable to run for a long time. I recently picked up a Steele gas-driven saw and cut it for a while after the battery on my Oregon ran out. Soon after, I quietly put down the gasoline-driven saw because the vibration of the motor through the pole made it very incongruous when it was running on the hand. The chainsaw doesn't vibrate and runs well. "think carefully": 1. If you trim or hang a few Treestands, batteries around the house, the battery life will be sufficient. It's not.

Best Battery Pole Saws Buying Guide

Henry Colon
Share post:

Unlike electric pole saw or gas pole saw, the battery pole saw can make any kind of trimming easy to handle. Powered by a rechargeable battery, it can be a good choice for medium or large size yards. It enables trimming without restriction from cord length and is light in weight. Choosing the right type of battery pole saw is not so easy and simple. You have to think about its features based on the individual situation. Do you want to choose the best battery pole saw for your intended use? This buying guide tells you vital factors to consider about before buying.

Price

With a built-in battery, the battery pole saw can be portable to handle with free mobility. But it tends to be more expensive than the electric models. It delivers reliable performance. However you do not want to spend too much money on it. The quality tool has to be affordable and cost effective. Choose a budget friendly model based on considerable functions. On the other way, if you are looking for the best level of value, it necessarily cost more. Working Height

This is an important factor to consider about. Most consumers who choose the battery pole saw expect to handle it for far or high trimming. In this way its working length matters a lot. Many pole saws have variable settings to adjust its length. You can find working height on the machine packaging. It usually includes an estimated arm length of two or three feet. Plus the length of the pole saw itself. Make sure the working length is capable to support your distant tasks before make a choice. Cutting Bar Length

The cutting bar length affects the maximum distance of the branches or hedges you are able to cut. First of all you need to know the length of branches you are going to trim or prune. In general cases the cutting bar length should be about two inches longer than the branches. That ensures safe and effective processing. Power

This model is powered by rechargeable batteries. Its power capability is measured by volts. That can be linked to the battery size. In common cases larger volts deliver higher level power. You can check its volts parameter on the battery packaging. And pay attention to its full running life as well as cycle life. How to ensure to complete the projects without recharge? Prepare for an extra battery for backup.

Weight

The battery pole saw can be handy to use without cord length limitation. The built-in battery makes it somewhat heavier in weight than electric models. But it is much lighter than the gas pole saws. If you are looking for a cordless pole saw to relive your trimming and beautify the garden. Then the battery models can be a good choice. On the other way, some customers may care more about the weight. Or some may be concerned about fatigue from hours handling for heavy duties. The electric pole saw might be a better choice.
