"I found the air bags to be of good quality and reasonably priced. However, I had to tap both the mounting holes and the air port. For the air port, I used a 1/2 - 14 (NPT) tap, and for the mounting holes, a standard 3/8. I picked these up at ACE Hardware, but I'm sure Amazon has them too. I suggested to the supplier to include this info in the description or to pre-tap the air bags before shipping. It’s crucial to use both tape and pipe putty to prevent air leaks. I hope this helps other buyers!"

"I bought six of these air springs, but unfortunately, they all leak down. Some lose air in as little as 20 minutes, and the longest one takes a day. I built hardware based on the dimensions in the photos, but none of the six springs matched the stated dimensions. The worst part is that neither the mounting holes nor the air port are properly threaded. While the bolt holes can be cleaned up with a tap, fixing the air port threads requires machine shop tools."
