Oh, my God, this air hockey table is amazing! As I wrote this comment, my children cheered in the other room. We had five children aged seven and under and decided to redecorate the garage as their Christmas present game room, and the air hockey table was the first on their list. There was no comment on this one, but its large price made me choose it. It came through freight with super good delivery men, bigger than I expected, which is exciting. It does show what's in the package, so if it's a surprise, plan to let your child leave. Mine is not very good, but the garage is not ready yet, so we set it up in the lobby. The light and sound are so interesting, but it's also good to have a switch off for this part. The table is sturdy, the handle is charged through USB, and it's convenient if you already have any phone plugs in your house. I bet 99% of people do that. It comes with a glowing hockey and two ordinary ones, which is great because my child has lost everything! My seven-year-old plays very hard. I've never seen hockey fly away once! I will update in a few months, but now I can say that this is a "buy now" project for sure! I can't wait to take turns with my husband!

Wow, am I struggling with this purchase? It is difficult for me to pick a table to provide the right mass balance for the money I spend. I know I won't get the quality of the arcade at this price point, but I hope the hockey can move freely and the system will work perfectly. I knew I wouldn't spend a few hundred dollars, and I quit my job to get something out of $800m. At the last minute, the one I "wanted" had been sold out. So I chose this table. As you might expect, most of the tables are made of wood. I feel very lucky that I didn't receive any fragments of the goods. The fans do a good job and lift the hockey very well. I have played with other tables where the fans are strong enough to lift the handheld bumper slightly. . This table will not do this. The manufacturer provided enough poker and 4 bumpers. I am glad to see the amount provided. I'm really glad to see that the bumper is well done and doesn't disappoint or feel cheap. I ordered some extra just in case, and the offer is much better than what I bought. The table itself is heavy. The shipping manifest says it weighs 175 pounds in packing. It's not a scary setting, but it does take 2 people to do the right and flip. I may have spent an hour on the setup. Technically, there are two power plugs (a little annoying); one for air and the other for "game system / sound". I chose to connect the air to a smart plug so that I could turn it on and off with Alexa. It's a cool touch that kids like.

I searched a lot to buy an air hockey table for my 10-year-old son. We went to a game table store in New Jersey and saw the exact $699 table, and they charged freight separately. I went home to check it out on Amazon, and because we liked the table in the store, I bought it from Amazon for $100 cheaper than the store, and the free Prime delivery and the scheduled delivery were great. The man who came to deliver the box was kind enough to move it to the storeroom in the basement, for which I tipped him generously. I paid a handyman $100 to install it, but once it was assembled, it looked solid, even though we had installed it for less than a month. It works so well that there is a metal bar on all sides of the table, so when the hockey hits the side of the table, it doesn't cut it open. The handyman specifically mentioned that this is a great feature on this table. I hope we have a few years. If there are any questions, I will update my comments so that future buyers will know, but now I recommend this form, price, free shipping and rugged form from Amazon.

I am skeptical about the purchase because the comments are not good, but I seized an opportunity anyway, and I am glad that I have done something amazing! All the lights that work in the air are good, they are well packed and there are no damaged or missing parts. Love it! Now I'm going to find a place for it: -) Update: it works very well a year later!

This is a great little table. I am 5 feet 2 inches tall and can play comfortably with my 5-year-old son. My 6-foot-2 husband sat comfortably. The airflow was steady and smooth, and the table survived a very enthusiastic family Christmas tournament. I withheld a star because the electronic scoreboard sometimes misses a goal, but all in all, it's a great scoreboard.

I've been searching for more than a month, and I've been browsing two other tables, and they're not close to his 84-inch model. This seems to be a new exclusive model for Amazon, and I like it. The box arrived in pretty good condition and was brought into my house at the time of my choice. It took less than 40 minutes to build, and it was very easy to do. The airflow works perfectly and the table is super smooth. LED lights look great, work well, flash when you have to, and they give the table an expensive look. The table itself looks smooth and well done. The scoreboard is very good and does not need a battery because you have no trouble inserting it. When the game is over, the table even closes automatically. Everything works well. I like the sound and movement of this thing. Without damage or rupture, everything is better on this md model, the playground is fast, the airflow is strong, the hockey returns are simple and clean, and you can use larger hockey. This is the best table I can find in 500 ranges. It's more than what I'm looking for. If you're looking for a sturdy table that looks smooth and has bells and whistles like this, don't hesitate.

A nice little table for younger children. I bought it on my son's seventh birthday. It's a good size for him. The air flow is very good to keep the ice hockey moving. It's not heavy, so I have to remind him not to lean on it so that it won't slide on the floor while we play. Electronic scoring resets a lot, so we use manual scoring. The score was done with a small sensor and a wire, so it could just be a matter of quality, but it could also be my bad structure. Overall, the price is well worth it for younger children. It looks good, it works well, and there is no quality problem after four months. I have no regrets about this purchase.

Nice size. It's big enough to play with, but small enough to fit easily in the room without having to take over it. It's not so bad in combination. There are defects in the manufacturer where the fan is turned on, but something prevents it from spinning. I dialed the number on the manual, talked to a very nice woman in the United States, and she soon sent me a new one. We don't have any dead spots on the table. The hockey moves well. The pucks mentioned above is a little small, but it makes you don't need such a big fan, so it works. On the whole, it has a lot of value and time fun for everyone. Will buy it again.

We want a good sturdy hockey table for our grandchildren and can't be happier to buy. The table was undamaged when it arrived and it took less than an hour to assemble it. The only warning I want to provide is to realize that this is a heavy table, but for us, this is what we want because it is so strong and stable that children can play on it. We have other air hockey tables in the past and nothing is close to the quality and cool features of this one. The overall firmness and airflow are very similar to the business tables you see in the arcade. The best part is LED lighting and sound effects. I can't believe it! It's hard to describe, but the lights along the track are many different colors and moves, change and reflect different game modes, when you score, and so on. The target is also very bright, and so are the folds and thrusters. I have attached a picture, it is still not fair, but it will give you an idea. Children like to play in the dark because LED lighting provides plenty of light for games. It was great to watch my grandchildren play for hours without tablets, smartphones or other electronic devices to keep them busy. Mission accomplished!

Stuck at home and not wanting to spend more money to entertain the children, I found this Lanos air hockey. Solid comments and prices are correct. When they said it would appear, the table appeared, and it was in good shape. I can easily assemble it myself. The children had a good time at the dinner table, and I think we should support their abuse. I would definitely recommend this table for those who want to keep their children busy and have fun instead of staring at the screen.

Best Air Hockey Tables Buying Guide

Joseph Davisson
Share post:

Generally, an Air Hockey Table has a smooth surface that provides accurate playing. The best air hockey table has a surrounding rail, which prevents the paddles and puck from leaving the table.

At both ends of the table, there are slots, which serve as goals. There is a puck return on both ends of the table. Usually, the puck is below and behind the goals. We give you the ultimate buying criteria, which you can use to choose the perfect table. This way, you can enjoy the game and entertain yourself. Read on!

Buying Guide

The Air Hockey is an incredible indoor table game. It is imperative to choose a table that best suits your needs – including the size of the table, the scoring system, the design, and durability, etc.

There are many best air hockey table products available on the market. To choose what is best for you or fulfill your specific requirements, it is important to emphasize the buying factors given below. Continue reading!

Blower Motor

First, you need to know about the blower or fan of the table. Some inexpensive air hockey tables don’t come with the fan or blower. You have to use the force when you want to push the puck in the goal of the opponent. This, of course, is a disadvantage. For good gaming experience, invest a little more and have a table that comes with at least 110V blower.

The motor, which powers the air hockey table must be a high output. It also should be UL approved motor, which will provide consistent and smooth airflow while not making noise. Today, on the market, you will find some air hockey tables that come with two motors.

We think that two motors are not necessary if the air hockey table has a large motor along with the plenum chamber. Do you know what a plenum chamber is? It is a cavity between the air distribution and the blower system in the playing surface of the table. The plenum creates air pressure inside it and allows for air distribution across the playing surface. Its purpose is to create balance.

Scoring Methods

We recommend you to go for models that come with abacus or electronic scoreboard. The electronic scoreboard has many advantages such as it tracks the score automatically and update it on the LED screen every time you score a goal. Low-end models have a manual scoring system. Again, it depends on your budget.

The electronic scoring mechanism makes playing more arcade. It is recommended to look for a scoring system that comes with an infrared sensor in the goal. This type of sensor can sense the pluck when it is dropped into the goal. So much so, an electronic scoring system with infrared sensors is more reliable than mechanical sensors that sense the puck.

Moreover, you need to look for electric score units, which plug-in instead of taking batteries. Although some tables can take batteries, we don’t recommend them. Always go for a scoring system that uses the AC adapter. This way, you won’t need to replace batteries. Also, this makes you save a lot of money.

Table Size

The size of the air hockey table is an important factor. It depends on the size of your room. For instance, you need to choose the table size depending on the space available in the gaming room. Smaller air hockey tables have a 3-4 feet range, which is good for teenagers and children. If you are an adult, we recommend going for 6-7 feet long table.

Further, air hockey tables are made to accommodate a wide range of styles and play intensities. Remember that as players improve their skills, it is possible to shift from a smaller air hockey table to a bigger one.

Many manufacturers offer different air hockey tables for adults. The typical sizes are 7, 7.5, and 8 feet from mid-range to more commercial style air hockey tables. The interesting thing about these tables is that they will last for longer and allow the adult players to play with intensity. Also, children can use such tables to develop their playing skills. Since they last longer, you can take the fun out of it for many years.

Power Source

If you want an air hockey table with a digital or electronic scoreboard, then keep in mind that these tables either come with batteries or you need to plugin them to the AC power source. Some high-end models with a smaller scoreboard use AA or AAA batteries. AC adapter is a good choice because you won’t waste money on batteries. Again, the choice is yours but we recommend the AC power source.

Leg Levelers

Leg levelers are important for balancing the table on the floor. They are useful when it comes to keeping the air hockey table intact on the floor. If you have hardwood, tile, or carpet floors, you need to look for durable levelers so that they prevent the table from wobbling.

You need to assemble the air hockey table before using it. Make sure you are well-aware of the assembly before you purchase the product. Some tables can be assembled easily whereas others require bolting on the legs.

Some “deep cabinet” air hockey tables require a detailed assembly. You need to check for the instruction manual so that you can use it to accurately assemble the table. If you don’t know how to assemble the table, you can hire a professional service in your area. This way, you can avoid the effort of assembling the table. This will cost you some money.

Additional Pushers and Pucks

All air hockey tables available on the market come with two pucks and pushers. If you want to play as a team, you need more pushers. Some models offer multiple pucks and pushers. Look for ergonomic pushers because they are an incredible add-on and provide more comfortable handgrips, which protect your fingers. Considering all these features, you can buy the best air hockey table.
