If you are a serious musician, hope Cordoba quality from a * $40 guitar *, this is not the kind of guitar for you. Find a pawnshop and hope that other people's misfortune will become your good luck. However, JF you are just getting started and want something cheap to find out if the guitar is right for you, which is a good choice. If you are buying this product for teenagers who are interested this week, but it may or may not be next week, this is a good choice. If you want something cheap to travel, it sounds good, but it won't break your heart when it is inevitably damaged by the airline. This is for you. If you are drunk shopping, drunk, you do not know if sober you want a guitar, this is a good choice. It is not a toy, nor is it suitable for children. This is a good, basic entry guitar, less than a good set of strings will cost you.

This is a fantastic guitar. I’m an intermediate player, and am returning to my classical guitar roots. I have a steel-string acoustic - which isn’t ideal for playing classical guitar - so I needed to outfit myself with a good instrument. I didn’t want to spend a ton of money, and I researched lots of different classical guitars in the $100/less price range. Reason being, I know both of my young daughters will want to play this guitar as well, and should I ever upgrade to a full-on $500+ instrument in the future, I’ll still need a nice, “starter” guitar for my girls. I chose this one based on good reviews and honestly, the rich warm honey color that I love. It’s gorgeous. The package arrived safely (I was worried about it getting knocked around in shipment, but everything appeared to be OK). It was very easy to tune and holds tuning very well. There are a few observations that I have, some good and some not-so-good, but nothing worth knocking off a star. Overall, I’m extremely happy and recommend this item, hence my 5 stars. A few things: I love the fact that it comes with additional accessories, but some of them don’t make sense. Typically, you don’t use a shoulder strap to play classical guitar. Or picks. I’m going to use the picks on my steel-string guitar (I can always use new picks) but the strap is just going to be donated because I already have a great strap for my steel-string. The bag is not cushioned at all (not even a little bit), so it wouldn’t be very good for tra...

It's a good thing to find out whether a child is really interested in learning. You need to stretch and readjust the strings on the first day, but after that, play every hour or two, and some of the strings are still being tuned. Keeping its tone is very important for learning so that children don't learn the wrong notes and chords. I absolutely recommend that adults learn how to tune and keep checking for tuning. Children can learn to tune, but you have to watch to make sure they don't tune and break them in the wrong way, because the strings can be raised or lowered to the same notes. The first guitar is highly recommended. It seems a little difficult for our 5-year-old, so he is not very interested, but the 7-year-old likes it and is learning it. He can also adjust it with help and know that when it is out of tune a few days later.

This is for my 10-year-old son, and he loves it! He always wants to learn & I don't want to throw away too much money in case he doesn't like it. This guitar is perfect and I recommend it to any parent who wants to encourage their children's interest.

My 6-year-old son has been learning the violin for more than half a year. I want to buy him a cheap guitar because it is relatively easy for violinists to learn. He is 50 "tall, so this 30" guitar is the right size. Because of how cheap it is, I am very satisfied with this guitar. It feels strong, the structure is good, and the sound is good. I used the digital tuner that came with the guitar and was able to tune it, and I only had some problems with string 6 until I realized that I had to play repeatedly while the tuner tuned to capture the notes correctly. Once tuned, the guitar makes a good sound, and my son is very excited to learn to play it. I like it with a shoulder strap and a watch case. Pickups are the only thing that feels a little cheap; they work fine, but they are very thin plastic in general, this is definitely a "low layer", beginner guitar, but it is great for such a complete setting so cheap. So we can test whether my son is interested in learning the violin without having to invest a lot of money in it.

This guitar is beginner friendly because you don't need to invest too much, but you have to know how to adjust it. Tuning mobile applications is available and accurate, so I recommend using the application instead of the tuner included in the package. This comment was written 3.5 months after I brought the guitar, and I've played almost half an hour a day since then. The combination of YouTube courses can help you navigate the learning curve, which is great. So far there has been no damage and I hope to spend a year learning the skills of this guitar before entering the intermediate level.

I've been playing the guitar for more than 30 years, but for some reason, I always want to try the budget guitar to see how different they are from when I started playing the guitar. I know Amazon has a lot of things under their brand, but when I see a guitar, I have to see it to believe it! It arrives quickly and is well packaged, and it is very good for beginners or people who want acoustics to come on vacation. When you want to play something, it can be played here and there. The handbag is good, not very light, but not very heavy. Just the right thickness to protect it. The tuner is good, it looks like it turns on when you clip it on the guitar headstand, and then turns it off when you take it off. The belt is nice, and includes an extra set of strings (which looks like a bronze string of 80apper 20) and a pickup. After tuning, the neck feels good, the sound is good, warm, and there is a good sense of existence. Its tunes are well maintained and will soon allow it to play for a longer period of time. All in all, it's good value for money, and it's good for beginners or those looking for a good sound while tapping the guitar. I love it!

My five-year-old daughter likes this. I like it with a suitcase, a digital tuner, a tone tube, a belt, and extra strings. I have to go online to see how to connect the braces. One end is attached to a nail, and then the other end needs to be tied around the neck with the rope provided. It's hard to keep the tune because the strings are stretching all the time, but I hope it will improve over time. Maybe not, because some strings are plastic.

I have played the guitar for 25 years. This guitar is amazing! That sounds great! Come with everything you need, including extra surprises not mentioned here! I have never been able to tune through the ear, and the included tuner makes it easy even for beginners.

It's a great purchase and I'm nervous because of its size, but it's perfect. It arrived quickly and SmartxChoose provided me with good customer service. It's with everything in the picture. Good quality and low price.

Best Acoustic Guitar Beginner Kits Buying Guide

John Preston
Share post:

It is important to choose the best acoustic guitar if you start on this. It will not only suit your needs but also be friendly to your wallet. The acoustic guitar is different form electric guitar in functionality and music styles. It gives a mellow music style such as folk and country. How to choose the best acoustic guitar for your preference? That depends on a couple of vital factors. This buying guide tells you how to make a good choice based on these detail factors. Read on.

Price

Compared to electric guitar, the acoustic models are more effective in cost. That is because it has less requirements and not so complicated composition. You might find a wide variety of quality acoustic guitars with good price. Choosing the best value within your budget can take effort. You have to ensure it gives precise notes and meet your needs. Then it should be affordable if you have a limited budget for this beginning device. You would better not go for the cheap ones compromising on quality. Investment in a good value could be worthwhile as it brings wonderful performance.

Composition

An acoustic instrument has a sound hole beneath the strings. A wooden side or soundboard is made of wood like spruce or red cedar. Strings vibration can be transmitted to soundboard and then delivers to the guitar amplifier. When choosing the best acoustic guitar for your needs, you have to know a few factors. Ask yourself what size and design are more preferable and what type of wood you want.

Sound quality

This is an important factor you have to consider when choosing a best acoustic guitar. Compared with electric guitar, the acoustic models are not less sensitive. It uses electric pickups that might get stuck in inner side of the body. It could be considerable if you do not care about its faint sound. If you are looking for a guitar which is more sensitive to slight vibrations, the electric guitar would be more suitable.

Feasibility

You need to think about whether it is easy to play and learn for beginners. The acoustic guitar is bigger in body size with heavy strings. That makes it harder to play than the electric counterparts. However the benefit is that it takes less time to learn. How to make a choice depends on your personal preference.

Maintenance

Whether you are looking for a guitar of entry level or profession, pay attention the maintenance. A well maintained guitar not only last for more years but also gives better performance. Take care of it as it is your friend. It is common to keep it away from extreme hot or cold conditions. Every time after use you can keep it in a protective case from sharp objects. A regular strings replacement and fretboard cleaning is required to ensure good sound. Acoustic guitar requires less maintenance than electric guitars. It provides humidifiers between string side to prevent drying wood.
